Hi, my name is Mya. I’m a CDA certified bilingual nanny with over 5 years of experience working with infants, toddlers, and young children. My approach is very hands-on, engaging, and Montessori-inspired. I encourage independence, problem-solving, emotional regulation, and letting children learn through real experiences instead of constant entertainment or screen time. I naturally bring a big sister type of energy into childcare. I love joking around, staying active with the kids, and building genuine relationships with them, while still being consistent with boundaries, routines, and respect within the home. I believe children thrive when expectations are clear and they feel both supported and capable. Hi! I'm Allyson Jo, or more commonly known as Ally Jo and I have over 10 years of experience caring for children ranging from infants to teenagers. I am CPR and First Aid certified and passionate about creating a safe, fun, and nurturing environment where children can learn, play, and thrive. My childcare experience includes multiple long-term nanny positions. I cared for a family with a 5 year old boy and 2 year old boy while also helping care for their dog. I also spent two years nannying for a family with a 6 year old girl and a 6 month old boy, along with their cat. These experiences taught me the importance of patience, adaptability, and building strong relationships with both children and parents! In addition to my freelance nannying, I am a high school volleyball coach, which has strengthened my leadership, communication, and mentoring skills. I am also currently studying sociology in college, where I enjoy learning about human behavior, relationships, and community. I also have three wonderful nephews (ages 3, 5, and 7) who keep me active and remind me how important creativity, energy, and kindness are when caring for children. Outside of childcare, I co-own a small business with my sister creating personalized hand-painted banners. Running our business has allowed me to express my creativity and develop strong organizational and communication skills. I love incorporating creativity into activities with children, whether that means arts and crafts, imaginative play, or fun hands-on projects. I'm a huge animal lover and previously worked at a doggy daycare, and regularly pet sit; so I'm very comfortable caring for pets alongside children. Whether it's helping with organizing activities, preparing meals, playing outdoors, or caring for family pets, I'm happy to support your family's needs.
