Hi! I have been regularly babysitting children for 13 years now and love it. I work at The Roxie Theater as a projectionist and love to make art in my spare time. Each child has different needs and personalities and I am excited and prepared to get to know them and help them grow into kind and caring individuals. Hi! I’m Kayla, a graphic design graduate with many years of experience caring for and working with kids. I started babysitting in middle school and continued throughout high school and college, including babysitting families in New York City while I was in school. I’ve also spent several years as a camp counselor, which gave me lots of experience creating fun activities, keeping kids engaged, and making sure everyone feels safe and included. I genuinely love spending time with kids and getting to know their individual personalities and interests. I’m creative, patient, responsible, and always happy to get involved rather than just sitting on my phone while the kids play. I love art, science, cooking, being outside, exploring, doing crafts, playing games, reading, and finding ways to turn everyday activities into something fun and engaging. Outside of work, I spend some of my free time volunteering at an animal shelter, and I love caring for animals. I’m someone who really enjoys staying busy, learning new things, and finding creative ways to spend my time. My background in graphic design also means I’m naturally creative and love coming up with projects and activities. I’m happy to help with homework, get outside for some fresh air, cook or bake together, make art, read, play, or simply hang out and make sure your kids have a great time. Hello! - My name is Sharice, most call me Sha, and I'm currently a sophomore at the School of Visual Arts. I am offering child care, senior care, pet care, and household services. I love being a babysitter and have been caring for kids since I was 10 years old! Most of my experience has come from babysitting younger family members as I grew up in a big family and am the 4th oldest of 14 cousins! My responsibilities have included crafts, entertainment, pick-up and drop-off, tutoring, and even dance lessons. I also work as a household assistant and can cook, clean, and run errands. I have been a caretaker for my own 95 year-old grandma and am comfortable with senior care. I can cook and do many other tasks. Though I was raised in a pet-allergic household, I have been blessed without the allergy and am in love with furry friends!
