However, most of my experience has mostly been caring for children aged 1-5. A typical day to day routine looked like getting kids ready for the day, drop-off and pick-up, driving to activities, adventures to playgrounds and museums, preparing kids meals and snacks, naps and quiet time, etc. And throughout the week, duties could include a few household duties—handling groceries, laundry, and running errands.
