Hello, my name is Dorothy. I am new to the area. I graduated from South Carolina State University in 2011 in child development. In the past 7 years I have worked with a variety of different camps throughout the states and other countries so I have experience with working with children. I am working a full time job that will not required me to be around kids. I feel like I love being around kids because they bring me joy in life. Lifelong pet owner, experienced with children, and familiar with caring for seniors! I was raised by nurses, and my grandmother took me along for a lot of her home healthcare work when i was younger. Care is first nature to me. I love children, I have experience working with neurodiverse children, children dealing with trauma, and children with special needs. One of the most important things in the world to me is making every child i share space with feel seen, heard, safe, and taken care of. That comes second to absolutely nothing for me. I’ve had pets all my life, and also do Rover, so accommodating cats, dogs, and anything in between is no problem for me. I’ve taken care of birds, fish. lizards, and more! Whatever you bring to me, I can handle it. I’m a full time artist, so my schedule is always flexible and free. I’m very active so playing with the kiddos, running with your dog, or assisting your loved one is no trouble. I am also impeccably clean, my grandmother alongside home healthcare work ran a cleaning business. I was raised into to the business of cleaning! Cleanliness is the only option to me. I’d be more than happy to workout a budget to make sure your home stays tidy. There is very little I don’t feel i’m capable of, and I’d be more than happy to bring peace of mind with my abilities.
