I am originally from Sandwich, New Hampshire. I have 15 years of education and babysitting/nannying experience, interacting with children and adults from various academic, socio- economic, cultural, disability, and ethnic backgrounds. I also have 4 years of housekeeping/personal assistant experience. I love the outdoors, reading, creative pursuits, and baking. I am always very excited to share these passions with families. Hello families, my name is Erin and I have been a caregiver for 10 years. I ensure that your children are receiving the same love and attention as if they were my own. I am a NY certified social studies teacher who also has a masters degree in teaching English to non- native English Speakers. (ENL) As a mother myself of one energetic little girl, I understand the kind of care we want for our children. I do have my own form of childcare so this would not become an issue. As a nanny who is proficient in understanding the emotional needs of children, I know how crucial it is to be dependable, attentive, and nurturing! I have cared for newborns all the way to pre-teens! Past responsibilities included errands, meal preparation, chores, pick-up/drop off from after school activities, etc. As a nanny, I am very open-minded and understand that all children require their own form of unique accommodations as well as families. I took early retirement in 2014 from an international organization after 25 years in order to spend more time with my soon to be 18 year old grandson who I am raising. I am the oldest of 8 children so needless to say I was always baby- sitting, teaching my siblings to talk, walk and read. I love working with children and get a lot of joy from doing activities with them and because I am very international, I do bring that flavor with me. I am a patient and apathetic person who values all children as if they were my own.
