Hi there! My name is Arby. I've been in Austin for about 5 years now and have become pretty established with the area. I currently work 2-3 days caring for a 2 year old. Outside of childcare, I’m in school working on pursuing urban planning at Texas State University and doing creative work on the side. I began my experience with children at my church at around 13 years old, all the way up to being assistant manager of the after school program of the school I worked at, and nannying. I have experience caring for children outside of home. I also have experience caring for children while parents are travelling and being a travel caregiver. I have housesitting/petsitting experience as well. As a big art lover, I enjoy engaging children in arts & crafts and finding ways to stimulate their creativity. I enjoy imaginary play as well! I also travel to DFW once a month so I sit over there sometimes as well. :) ***Please note: I do a charge for last-minute cancellations. Thank you for taking the time to read this and I look forward to meeting you!

I haven't been babysitting for long. I enjoy kids, I have fun playing games with them. I'm a kind person with a bubbly personality. I enjoy, singing, dancing, music, and theatre. Helping with childcare at my church was also a lot of fun.
I am a responsible, patient, and attentive caregiver with lifelong experience babysitting children of various ages. I focus on safety, communication, and creating a positive, supportive environment. I’m reliable, organized, and able to follow instructions while also adapting to each child’s needs. I bring strong time management, empathy, and a calm, friendly approach to every situation.
Hi , I’m Shia get to know me ! I’m a student at TCC College focusing on business and science. I’m a certified medical assistant. I have a reliable vehicle. I enjoy shopping , nature and food ! I find peace in writing poems and reading books . I like small dogs . I have strong skills in childcare, including creating safe and engaging activities, helping with homework, and supporting daily routines like meals, naps, and bedtime. I’m also skilled at communicating with both children and parents, staying patient, and handling challenges calmly. In addition, I have hands-on training from my daycare and teacher assistant experience, where I learned age-appropriate care, classroom support, and safety practices. I’m also CPR and First Aid aware, which helps me respond responsibly in emergencies. I have been working in caregiving since I was 16 years old. My experience includes working in a daycare, serving as a teacher assistant at a school, and providing babysitting for children ranging from infants (0–1 years old) to school-aged children (3–13 years old). Through these roles, I’ve gained hands-on experience with different age groups and learned how to provide safe, nurturing, and engaging care. I love being a sitter because it allows me to combine responsibility with something I truly enjoy caring for children. I enjoy being a positive role model and someone they can feel comfortable with, while also giving parents peace of mind knowing their children are well cared for. I enjoy spending time with kids and creating a safe, fun environment for them. It’s rewarding to be part of their growth, whether that’s helping with homework, encouraging creativity, or just making them laugh. I'm excited to bring my passion and positive attitude to families in Texas. I'm CPR + First Aid certified and ready to create a fun, supportive environment while gaining valuable experience and supporting your family's needs.
