Hello my name is Gianna! I am originally from Pearland, Tx , but I am currently in Nashville, Tn for college. I am majoring in psychology and hope to be a therapist or counselor in an educational institution. A few fun facts about me! I cheered for 12 years, both competitively and in high school, I have 3 dogs and 1 bearded dragon, I love building lego sets, and I am 20 years old. I’m 5’1, tall enough to get on roller coaster rides and short enough to be an extra in Willy Wonka Chocolate Factory! I am a huge kid at heart. I love arts and crafts, I love adventures, and simply love to laugh. I have always had a motherly instinct since I was little, which I attribute to my wonderful upbringing, so being around children brings me an immense amount of joy. I do not have professional experience with childcare/babysitting outside of babysitting for my family and friends. I have cared for my boyfriend’s sister’s sweet daughter, and at the time her daughter was 2-7 months old while I was caring for her. I did diaper changes, baths, bottle feedings, tummy time/sensory activities, and putting her to sleep. I have also cared for a family friend’s daughter who is 3 years old. We play, watch movies, and giggle all day long! She especially loves putting makeup on me! While although I am not super experienced, I am very caring, compassionate, patient, and loving towards all children, so naturally I think I would be amazing to help out any family on a short notice with their sweet little ones! I also weirdly loving cleaning. My like for organizing and being clean has presented itself as valuable for my clients and an outlet for me. So while although families might not list it as a responsibility, but wanted/needed it, I can provide light house work such as, doing dishes, laundry, sweeping/mopping, and even organizing/picking up messes. I know keeping a tidy home with little ones running around can be difficult, so I would be glad to do my part in helping out where I can! I am also a big animal lover! I am a dog walker through the app Rover. So, if there is any help needed with your furry ones, I would be happy to do so!

Hello! I am a new-graduate physician assistant looking for a fun position as a nanny before I start working full time as a PA. I have been babysitting and working with children in different settings, both paid and unpaid, since I was in middle school. Most recently, I nannied for several families on a part-time basis from 2[removed]. I absolutely love working with children and getting to encourage the development of their growing minds! I think my personal emphasis on kindness and hard work are excellent traits for children to look up to and eventually implement into their own lives. This will make them adults who greatly impact society in the future, and I think that is one of the most rewarding aspects of childcare! With my education and prior experience as an EMT, I am extremely comfortable with caring for people with medical conditions and am extensively trained in basic and advanced life support for both children and adults. Therefore, I would be a reliable individual in any emergency situation. Also, I have had some brief experiences with pet sitting and have grown up taking care of dogs of my own. Currently, I have a 1 year old lab-pit bull mix who loves walks and snuggles!
I have worked in summer camps where I am caring for 12-16 kids in a cabin with another counselor. I have also been in classes where I’ve taught guitar to at least 7 children at once. I own 6 cats and a dog so i am able to car for more than one pet!
Hi Families, I am a Nashville native and a dedicated "empty nester" with over 20 years of experience working with children of all ages within some capacity. My career and personal life have been defined by a passion for supporting growing minds, and I would love to bring that expertise to your family. My background offers a unique blend of professional insight and hands-on experience: ● Education: I hold a BS in Psychology from Cumberland University and a Master’s in Counseling from Trevecca Nazarene University, with a specific focus on behavior management. ● Specialized Experience: I have extensive experience working with children with disabilities. This interest began personally, as I navigated raising two sons, one of whom is on the Autism Spectrum with ADHD. ● Professionalism: My previous career as a School-Based Therapist for the Centerstone has instilled in me a high level of reliability, organization, and a calm demeanor under pressure. Now that my sons are adults—both having achieved their own Master’s degrees and pursuing careers in professional football—I find myself missing the energy and joy that children bring to a home. I am looking for a role where I can utilize my skills to foster a positive, educational, and nurturing environment for your children. In my personal time, I am an avid nature lover and animal enthusiast. I am a "dog mom" to a Labrador named Saint, a frequent visitor to The Gentle Barn, and a hopeful volunteer for The Elephant Sanctuary. I truly value education and am eager to support your children’s development. I look forward to the possibility of discussing how my background and heart for childcare can be of assistance to your family. Warmly, Shea Duke
