San Francisco
$40 per hour for 1 child

☀️🌉☀️🌉☀️🌉☀️🌉☀️🌉☀️ Hello, I live in San Francisco and am familiar with almost all SF playgrounds and neighborhoods, as well as Marin and the Peninsula. I have been working as a Full Time professional nanny in the Bay Area for over 18 years, working with children starting at 1 month old -- to preschool -- to older children. Caring for multiple children is my specialty and I have a lot of newborn experience, families tell me I am great with infants/babies/toddlers and have a lot of patience and energy for these age groups as well as all the others. I absolutely love my job! 💛 Note: if I apply for your babysitting job, I accept the hourly rate that you set. I am currently working as a part time freelance nanny/babysitter for a couple families during the school year but my schedule is constantly evolving and I prefer to accept short-term or one time assignments -- I am always up for a new nanny assignment! Working with children keeps me young at heart and I have so much fun doing it. I am a confident person, very organized and love structure but also very relaxed/flexible and people say I have a very calming presence. Basically I will go with whatever flow you have going on in your home and follow your lead and preferences. I have always gravitated towards caring for children. After college (UC Santa Cruz, BA Psychology) I worked as a Literacy Tutor for first graders in East Oakland, and even after some time working in office jobs life lead me back to children. I started working for a Family Day Care center and there I learned valuable knowledge about caring for multiple infants and toddlers at a time. Up to 10-12 kids! It was a natural progression towards nanny work. I love to read to children, play games, creative play, running outside, playing sports, being silly/laughing, etc. My mom was an elementary school teacher and people tell me I am like a teacher. I must take after her :) I am great with infants and toddlers, I recognize non-verbal cues very clearly and think ahead. I take instruction well and I also can do well without any instruction because I have so many years experience and I am a no-nonsense type of personality. I have a genuine interest in every child's well being. Your children will be well taken care of, safe and happy in my care. ❤️ I am CPR/First Aid certified. I can travel throughout the Bay Area, I have a very reliable car, a 2016 VW Tiguan.

I'm the proud mom of a kind, curious, and cuddly tiny human who fills my life with joy and inspiration. Plus, I bring over 20 years of professional experience as a child care provider, camp counselor, tutor, family/personal assistant, household manager. On top of that, I have a lifetime of hands-on experience as the eldest sister of eight siblings-including two sets of twins! My philosophy is simple: Children teach us as much as we teach them. They remind us to slow down, find beauty in the little things, ask questions, and embrace change. I strive to nurture curiosity, intellect, and imagination in a safe, compassionate environment. I integrate music and play into everyday activities while empowering children to grow with confidence, self-discipline, and self-respect. I adapt my approach to each child's unique needs and development, as well as to each family. My passion lies in working as a team to create a fun and engaging atmosphere that fosters learning and growth!

Health & Safety Note: Because I often care for 2–3 different families in a single day, I do my best to keep everyone healthy and safe. For this reason, I’m not able to provide care for sick children or in homes where someone is currently unwell (cold, flu, fever, cough, etc.). If I arrive and notice signs of illness that I wasn’t informed about in advance, I may need to step away from the booking to avoid the risk of spreading anything to other children and families. Thank you so much for your understanding and support in keeping everyone well! ❤️ I’m a caring and experienced nanny with over 15 years of working with children of all ages — from tiny newborns to busy school-aged kids. I’ve worn many hats over the years: babysitter, summer camp group leader, and even some families trusted to help interview and choose the right nanny. I truly love what I do and always aim to create a warm, safe, and loving space where children can feel secure and thrive. Supporting parents and becoming a trusted part of the family is the heart of my work.

$24 per hour for 1 child

Hi! I'm Anja (An-ya)! I’m a Bay Area native and a mom! I have a daughter who is 3. I have availability on Thursday with some Fridays. Let me know if you want my daughter to come along! I've been working as a babysitter and nanny since high school, when I regularly babysat for neighborhood families with toddler age children. In college I worked for a service (fittingly) called College Nannies and Tutors, which provided on-call care for a variety of families across the Bay Area. I was booked with families whose daycare providers were on vacation, children who were too sick to go to school, and for kids whose parents worked from home - or who just needed a day to themselves! As you can imagine, I got to know a diverse group of children and parents and was able to work closely with them to meet their own special set of needs. I love fostering children's imagination and independence, and getting to know their unique personalities. Whether it's dinosaurs, dump trucks, Elsa, or Lightning McQueen, if they're interested, I'm interested!

$23 per hour for 1 child

Hi there! I’m Stephanie. I’m 32 years old and I have over 10 years of childcare experience with a variety of ages, although I have minimal background with children under 6 months. I have a plethora of special needs experience, especially with ASD and ADHD. I have worked with over 100 families performing date night and backup care and have had multiple more consistent nanny families over the years. The latter included everything from meal prep, pickups and drop offs, to tutoring. My undergraduate education is in environmental studies. I took a tropical biology field quarter in Costa Rica during college and as a result, know basic conversational Spanish. Post graduation, I worked for a period of time as a teacher for an outdoor school and also seasonally in parks. After this time, I spent years working in IT as an analyst. I’m currently in a masters of data science program. In my spare time, I ride horses and am an amateur photographer. I’m also teaching myself Japanese. Additionally, I love tinkering with computers and playing video games just as much as I enjoy being outside! It brings me great joy sharing all of my passions with kiddos. I favor the Montessori method and enjoy doing interactive activities with children like tinker crates. I also love getting kids outside when possible. I have many cameras and sometimes bring them to share with kids when requested, indoors or outdoors! When it comes to parenting style, authoritative is what I lean towards. I focus on positive reinforcement where possible and creating a collaborative environment with kids so they feel part of the process i.e “would you rather brush your teeth in 2 minutes or 5 minutes?” Instead of simply telling them to brush their teeth. As well as, bringing fun activities the next time I come as a reward for good behavior that day. Due to my schooling, I am currently only accepting occasional jobs. Given I am a student and work with multiple families, I am not able to work with sick kids in most instances. PLEASE inform me if your child is ill, I will do the best I can to work with you. I also cannot take a job with only a few hours of notice. I need at least 24 hours.
