Hi! My name is Sophie and I’m from Carlsbad. I’m currently home from college for summer break and looking forward to helping families in my community. I have experience with both childcare and pet care and enjoy creating a safe, fun, and positive environment. I have been passionate about working with children since I was 16 when I began babysitting for family and friends. This early experience sparked a lifelong interest in child development, leading me to earn a Bachelor of Science degree with a minor in Family Studies and Human Development from the University of Arizona in 2023. Throughout my education, I interned at the Southern Arizona Children's Advocacy Center, where I had the opportunity to support underprivileged children ranging from toddlers to adolescents. This experience reinforced my belief in the power of play, emotional support, and structure for their growth and well-being. Post-graduation, I continue to work with children at daycares and as a nanny and babysitter for multiple families across Arizona and I have so much fun every day :) I always find joy when I’m with children and I look forward to meeting you and your little one(s) !

Hi there! I'm Tessa. I grew up in the Bay Area after moving from New York City with my family. I went to college in Arizona and now work as a creative product photographer, which has allowed me to travel all over the world and gather some amazing experiences. When I'm back in New York, I love spending my time babysitting and providing caretaking services. I’m CPR certified and have experience caring for kids of all ages, from newborns to school-aged children, including twins and kids with special needs. I’m also knowledgeable in handling allergies and know how to use an EpiPen. I enjoy cooking meals, doing arts and crafts, tutoring, taking kids to and from school, and planning fun outdoor activities. Being active and creative, I love making each day exciting and safe for the kids I look after. Besides child care, I also offer pet care and non-health related senior care. I’ve been a caretaker for my grandparents and other seniors, helping with daily activities, cleaning their homes, cooking, driving to appointments, and running errands. I'm an animal lover and have experience with all kinds of pets—dogs, cats, chickens, and hamsters.
