Meet college nannies and sitters from University of Central Arkansas

I am a working mom who is married and currently in college part time majoring in psychology! I am looking for part time or single-occuring jobs. Babies/children: I am a mom to a toddler girl, having fresh experience with infants/tots. I grew up babysitting my cousin during summer from 8-13yo, and have 3 years experience volunteering at my local church to watch our toddlers, youth and teens in a larger scale, max 5 kids by myself at a time. I also worked at a developmental preschool as an RBT working with autistic children 5yo and under, as well as a Vilonia preschool working with toddlers. I have also tutored with math, chemistry, reading sheet music, and english, additionally teaching private art lessons, so I can help with homework or teach a new skill within my capacity to the kids if needed! I am firmly Christian, sociable, energetic and love hanging out with the kids while talking, playing, marking art or making music, and love the outdoors/exploring outside. I love being a mom and treating kids like they're my own, and I hope to make positive impacts and lasting bonds with each one. For dogs/pets: Every dog and pet I meet I love like my own! I have cared for dogs and other pets for years starting during childhood, including my own, elderly dogs, medicated and/or diaper/pad using pets, as well as puppies and low-maintenance pets, housesat a house full of dogs, cats and reptiles before. Most importantly, I enjoy every second spending time with animals. I have loved dogs and all critters ever since my youth. I grew up with dogs, reptiles and birds, and have 2 rescue dogs and a rescue kitten currently who are all very spoiled. Household Services: I have volunteered to clean my local church for 5 years, have housesat for friend's parents growing up during vacations, and I have helped clean up/organize for the ill, disabled and elderly within the church for the past few years. I love helping people any way I can and cleaning is therapeutic to me which is a plus! I do have a few of my own general cleaning supplies that I can bring minus large appliances like steamers, but prefer to use yours since you know what you like to use.

Hii, my name is Ky’Ana (key-on-uh) and I’m a college student majoring in interior design. I have great experience in babysitting numerous kids of all age groups all at once. I have previously helped my grandma(she does foster care) with babysitting and/or taking care of her foster and adopted kids for over 3 years continuously, and I still occasionally help out with babysitting from time to time. I’ve babysat 6 kids all at once ranging from babies to school age kids of different demographics, abilities/disabilities, and more. I not only watched them, but ensured to keep them engaged in meaningful activities while she was gone and being sure of their safety and well-being. Hello! I’m an enigmatic, expressive and passionate personality. I’m a fan of boundaries, co-regulation, parks, libraries, field-trips, and kitchen science experiments. I am passionate about swimming lessons, and really love taking kids to practice their skills! I started babysitting at a young age, taking safe sitter, first aid & CPR classes every summer at the local hospital until I graduated high school. If I could freely acquire degrees for free, I would be heavily credentialed in Peds Occupational Therapy and early childhood behavior. Professionally, I have worked for over 17 years in roles related to social services, nannying, job training support and placement for youth and adults with disabilities, as well as caretaking in assisted living and memory care. I am current on all of my CPR/AED classes. I am very confident in my abilities to assess and respond to emergencies including infant choking, first aid and CPR considerations. I am also familiar with basic medical equipment and disability or high-risk needs and procedures involving transfers, toileting, and various situations naturally occurring with potty training, elopement, TBI, night time anxiety and panic disorders, and more! I also possess a current QMHFA certificate for those with mental health considerations.
