Hi there! My name is MeganElizabeth, but you can call me Megan. I am 25 and moved to Columbus about a year ago from Greenville, OH. I’ve been caring for kids most of my life—starting at age 10 by helping care for my 6-month-old nephew under my mom’s supervision. With sisters much older than me, I naturally stepped into a caregiving role for my nieces and nephews at an early age. I began babysitting outside my family at 15 and started nannying around 19. I’ve had a lot of hands-on experience with infants, including caring for a 3-week-old foster baby several days a week for a few months, and a 1-week-old I was with consistently for over a year. I also spent about a year and a half working in a preschool, gaining experience with kids of all ages and personalities. I’ve been CPR certified since I began babysitting through the YMCA at 15. Beyond childcare, I’m happy to help with light housework, meal prep, and planning age-appropriate activities. What I love most about working with children is seeing how their minds work—how they look at life, how they process things, and those little moments when something clicks for them. It’s the most rewarding type of work to me, and I feel really grateful anytime I get to be part of their world. I currently work full time at a daycare. I am looking for occasional evenings and weekends. Let me know if there’s anything else you'd like to know—I’d be happy to answer!😊

Hello! I’m a dedicated, nurturing, and highly experienced childcare provider with over a decade of experience in children’s education and caregiving. My background combines classroom teaching, arts education, and at-home family care. I have a BFA and have spent over a decade working professionally on Broadway, which deeply informs my creativity, playfulness, discipline, and ability to meaningfully engage with children at their level. I have experience working with children across a wide range of ages, from 5 months to early teen years. I come from a large, close-knit family in Ohio and played an active role in helping raise my nieces and nephews, which shaped my natural caregiving instincts from an early age. My hobbies I would love to share with your children are tennis, chess, reading, writing and singing. Course Certifications • Substitute Teacher (Pre-K - 12th Grade) • School Safety & Child Review • Violence Prevention • DASA (Dignity for All Students Act) • Autism Workshop

Hello! I’m Cynsere, and I’m thrilled to be your babysitter. As a musical theatre professional who attended UC (CCM), I’ve always had a deep passion for caregiving, which I’ve nurtured alongside my love for the stage. From a young age, I found immense joy in helping kids in kindergarten through second grade learn to read, write, and spell. It was the highlight of my day, and I cherished every moment of it. In high school, I also attended trade school for nursing, where I learned essential skills like CPR, First Aid, and swaddling. Afterward, I worked as a dietary aide in a nursing home, spending my free time with Alzheimer’s patients. It was a truly rewarding experience, and I loved making them feel loved and cared for, no matter how our conversations went. Musical theatre has also been a wonderful way for me to connect with the youth and share my knowledge. I recently closed a production of “Beauty and the Beast” at the Taft Theatre, and after every school show, I had the joy of engaging with the children and answering their questions about theatre. I hope this gives you a little insight into who I am. I’d love to get to know you and your family better! And by the way, I’m great with pets too!

Hi, my name is Talia! I'm currently majoring in psychology and minoring in film studies at the University of Cincinnati. My experience ranges from sitting for several notable families over the years (including the son of Scott Devendorf: member of Grammy Award-winning band The National), to more than a year with many great families within Sitting Made Simple, to years and years of working as a mother's helper and babysitter for family and friends. I am the older sister of three fun and unique little siblings and the older cousin of a handful of amazing and adorable little first cousins on my mother's side. My youngest brother has a mild form of Autism Spectrum Disorder as well as ADHD and a couple of mood disorders, so I am comfortable watching children with some special needs. Furthermore, throughout my time babysitting professionally, I have sat for other children with special needs (such as Down Syndrome and a more incapacitating form of Autism Spectrum Disorder). I have experience with children as young as a few months old all the way through older teens with special needs. I really enjoy getting to know and caring for new children--especially babies. I also really enjoy caring for pets while babysitting--I am a big animal person. During my free time, I really enjoy spending time with family and friends, watching films and television shows, listening to music, walking around the city, shopping, traveling, going to concerts and festivals, taking photos, swimming, dancing, going out to eat/for coffee, and educating myself on topics I am interested in (such as pop culture, social issues, politics, fashion, cultural history, etc.)!
My name is Emma :) I am 20 years old and currently living in Covington, Kentucky, where I am enrolled in the nursing program at the University of Cincinnati. I am training to be a NICU/pediatric trauma nurse. I have been babysitting ages 1-12 since I was 16 years old. I am available most days except Thursdays from 11 am-3 pm due to classes. I have also gone through a child CPR class and 3 babysitting courses through the American Red Cross. I am also able to make meals, clean the house, and feed pets as well.
