Hi! My name is Rachel, and I recently graduated from the University of Mary Washington with a major in Biomedical Science. I aspire to become a pediatrician because I’ve always loved working with children and creating positive, fun experiences for them. I have been working with kids for over 5 years through babysitting, summer camps, church programs, and mentoring experiences. I previously worked with kids at Brooksfield School summer camp, where I helped lead engaging activities including sports and STEM projects. I loved getting to build connections with the kids while keeping camp fun, active, and supportive. I have also volunteered with children through Sunday School at my local church. In addition to childcare experience, I played collegiate lacrosse, so I enjoy staying active and encouraging kids to participate in sports, games, and outdoor activities. I have 5 years expierence with babysitting, and have been substitute teaching with Stafford County for almost 4 years. As I am currently full-time in college and cannot substitute, I am looking for part-time weekend babysitting jobs. I am available Saturdays and Sundays, as well as Friday afternoon/evenings.
