Hi there! My name is Grace and I am a current senior at URI. I am currently double majoring in English and secondary education at the University of Rhode Island. I plan on becoming an English teacher once I graduate. As for experience, I have been babysitting and tutoring for six years. My professional experience includes being a preschool teacher, a RBT, and a nanny! Currently, I work part time as a nanny to two children under three and part time as a RBT, primarily working with children five and under. Hello Families! My name is Alana, and I have 12 years of experience caring for children, pets, and helping out around the house. My first nanny job was between freshman and sophomore year of college. What was only supposed to last for one week ended up turning into a full time summer job for the next 4 years. I loved the 2 little girls I cared for ages 4 and 5 and I grew very close to my family as well. They are now dear friends of mine and the oldest of the two is now practicing for her learners permit and her younger sister just made captain of her high school tennis team. After graduating from college with a bachelor's degree in abnormal and molecular psychology, I occasionally accepted a few short-term nanny jobs. Still, after working in my field of study for some time, I realized that moving towards nannying would be a refreshing change. One of the things I love most about caring for children is their raw honesty and excitement. Their thoughts and feelings come from the purest sincerity. Their excitement to tell you about something they experienced for the first time has a way of breathing a little bit of magic back into everyday life. As a child, I grew up in Italy and Scotland, I saw so many amazing things when I was little and I was always more than happy to share my experiences with everyone. I look forward to being the adult and listening to the stories and adventures of children now. It's fun! Along with children, I also love family pets. My family always had a dog and a cat. Currently, I have two black cats, one is a senior citizen, and the other is a 9 week old kitten. She is like a toddler that just learned to walk because she gets into everything.My old kitty is a saint for putting up with her wild antics.

I am 30 years old from Rhode Island living and loving life in Denver! I currently work from home in tech as account manager and am looking for evening/weekend gigs. I spent the majority of high school and college babysitting and nannying and have always loved kids! I am super active and enjoy all things outdoors including, hiking, camping ,skiing, walking, park days etc. I have a car and can be flexible with my schedule - I would love to be able to help your family out while I have extra time on my hands!
