For many summers I worked as a camp counselor instructing campers in horseback riding, singing, arts & crafts, and more. I hold a BA in English Literature and I am patient, warm, and fun. In the past 4 years I have cared for infants and toddlers during the day and overnight and I welcome working with older children as well. I enjoy helping young people learn, grow new skills, have fun and regulate emotions. I grew up on a farm and I am more than happy to have dogs/cats in the home while caretaking if they are well-mannered. Thanks for your time!

Hello, Families! I recently legally changed my name to Kai, but Elisabeth/Beth was my name prior. I’ll happy to send proof of name change if needed! I'm a career nanny with over 15 years of nanny experience. I am also a newborn care specialist, birth doula, and postpartum doula. Though I am a US citizen, I was born and raised in Indonesia and speak fluent Indonesian as well as English. I am fully vaccinated, have a reliable car, clean driving record, and am CPR/First Aid/AED Certified for infants, children, and adults. I enjoy caring for children of all ages, but the bulk of my experience has been in the newborn to 5 year old range. I love getting children outdoors, helping facilitate art projects, listening to music, having dance parties, and also reading with children. I also love board games, having tea parties, and going on neighborhood adventures or outings to the zoo or aquarium. I currently work as a full-time nanny and am unavailable for full-time care, but I am available most weekday mornings before 9am as well as most weeknights after 5:30pm. I am also often available on weekends. ***I do not provide care for sick children, as I do not want to run the risk of my regular nanny family getting sick.*** I have a 4 hour or $120 minimum for bookings and am happy to be paid through Urbansitter, in cash, or through Venmo. I'm happy to do overnights and charge a flat rate of $175 for the hours between 10pm and 6am and my hourly rate for any additional hours. The exception for this would be infants under 12 months old, for which I charge my hourly rate through the night. Please feel free to message me if you have any additional questions. Thank you for your interest in booking with me!

Hello! My name is Corinne and I'm a student at CCSF studying to become a nurse. I've lived in San Francisco for three years and enjoy biking, hiking and knitting in my free time. I've been babysitting since I was 14 years old, and have extensive experience with infants, toddlers, and school-age children, in groups or individually. My responsibilities have included leading online schoolwork during the pandemic, and I'm comfortable tutoring and helping with homework. Outside of schoolwork, I enjoy outdoor activities, reading to children, and arts and crafts. I also have worked as a chef, and love to cook for families and teach children age-appropriate cooking tasks if they're interested! I'm CPR certified for infants, children, and adults and certified for Basic Life Support and First Aid. I'm happy to help with clean-up, errands, cooking, and other household tasks. I am also comfortable working with families with pets.

Hello all! My name is Naomy and most of my experience was in Seattle but I am now looking forward to working for families in the NY area. I have worked with multiple infants, toddlers, and children from 6 mo up to age 10! I have picked up children from school, made meals, fed, played with, and put kids to nap. I have experience doing overnight sitting and have been trained for CPR (although currently my license is expired). Fun activities include going to the park, bike rides, story time, arts and crafts, or playing in the backyard. I frequently sit for date nights.

Hi! I’m Katie and I’ve been caring for children for 15+ years. I am passionate about the nurturing and education of children, and enjoy fostering their individual growth and development. I recently graduated from the University of Washington with a Bachelor of Science in Geoscience and a Minor in Disability Studies. My future goal is to merge my love for childcare, pedagogy, disability studies and environmental science into a learning center for kids. I have extensive experience with children of all ages, from infants to teenagers. Starting my childcare career as a teenager myself, I have continuously improved my skills through hands-on experience, training courses, certifications, and educational coursework over the past 15 years. Alongside providing in-home care, I have also gained valuable experience working in educational and recreational settings. I am passionate about creating inclusive and supportive environments that empower children to thrive and succeed. I use adaptive caregiving techniques to meet the individual needs of children with diverse abilities. Through a blend of educational, professional, and personal experiences, I have honed my skills in customizing activities, environments and curriculum to best suit various learning styles, disabilities and abilities. My favorite activity to do with kids is exploring and playing outdoors in nature. I also love engaging in games, arts and crafts, science experiments, cooking and baking, reading, music, and dance, among other activities! One of my go-to activities, with parental permission, for first visits is making homemade play-dough. It's a simple yet fun activity to break the ice and allow the kids and me to get to know each other. Extra info: In addition to childcare, I’m available to help with tutoring, homework, preparing meals, light cleaning, and errands. I’m an animal lover so any pets are fine by me. In addition to lots of pets and play I’m happy to help with feeding, walks, etc.
