$30 per hour for 1 child

Hi there! I'm Kendall, a date-night sitter with 20 years of experience. While I appreciate your interest, I have no availability for full-time, part-time jobs or jobs during the day, because I have a 9-5 job as a product manager. Fully vaccinated (boosted Dec 2021, Oct 2022). Specialties: date nights, travel sitting (in hotels and Airbnbs), ages newborn to 3 I absolutely love working with kids. I started babysitting when I was 11 years old as a mother's helper for a family on my block, and kept babysitting for several families all through high school. I have experience with kids of all ages, from 6 week old newborns to 12 year old middle schoolers. I used to lead a dance company for kids with physical disabilities, so I am big on movement as well! If it's nice out, I also love taking kids outside to play. I have experience working with kids who have autism and Down syndrome. I have worked on UrbanSitter on and off since 2014, and have had the opportunity to work with so many amazing families. I understand the hesitation in booking a babysitter online, but I've found great relationships and mentors in many of the families I've sat for. Thanks for reading and I'd be happy to talk with you soon.

Katherine $25 per hour for 1 child

Hi, I’m Kate! I am a first-year Masters in Social Work student at NYU living in Brooklyn. I graduated from Vanderbilt in 2021 with a degree in Cognitive Studies and African-American and Diaspora Studies. I’m just getting started on Urban Sitter, so I’m happy to provide references from families I’ve worked with in the past. I have 11 years of babysitting experience with kids of all ages, genders, and personality styles. I have experience with kids with Downs Syndrome, autism, and other special needs. This has included children with aggression and other severe behavioral problems, and I am confident in my abilities to meet these patterns with patience and compassion. I love kids and empowering them to practice autonomy while also being someone they can depend on. I’m looking for part-time babysitting opportunities during weekday evenings and weekends! I’m looking forward to meeting you!

Lucie $19 per hour for 1 child

Hello! My name is Lucie and I am 20 years old. I am currently a rising senior at Vanderbilt University studying Special Education with a specific niche in Literacy Interventions and Reading Instruction. I am offering child care, senior care, and household services. I have been working with all ages, from toddlers to the elderly, since I was 14. My experience in the special education field has enabled me to adjust to different behavioral and emotional situations and approach them all with patience, insight, and warmth. I feel comfortable in all areas; I can tutor, cook, clean, and assist with all different errands. I enjoy collaboration and am willing to help out with many different needs. I am active and adventurous, as well as compassionate and empathetic. I grew up constantly absorbed in creative and pretend play, and enjoy finding ways to incorporate that into my everyday childcare practices.
