I know how hectic life gets and I am here to make it a bit easier for you. I assist in keeping busy families running smoothly by providing caregiving services to those you love the most. My educational background in psychology and over 10 years' experience in human services ensures that you have someone working for you who will keep your loved ones engaged, safe and happy. When you choose me, you are choosing someone who will become an extension of your family. That is able to assist with not only the fun things but also those issues that are more challenging. As someone that believes in work hard play hard I can often be found relaxing on a Gulf Coast beach on my down time. I look forward to working with you!
Hello! My name is Katlyn- I’m a kind and outgoing design major, currently attending Wayne State University. I’m going into my last year of school for my Bachelors in the fall! I love to spend my time planning fun and creative activities, going to the park and ( very recreationally ) playing sports like volleyball, throwing a football, or doing yoga. Video games have always been a super fun way for me to let loose and turn my brain off at the end of the day. As for my professional experience, I spent a few years with the YMCA doing before and afterschool care. I worked with Elementary School kids attending the UPA Charter Schools across Detroit. Children I worked with typically ranged from ages 5-12, and I’d supervise them in groups of 10-15, so I’m absolutely equipped for a fast-paced ( and high energy ) environment! Over my time there I enjoyed developing and implementing an engaging and creative after-care program schedule. There’s plenty of extensive training that I’ve had the opportunity to develop as well, including playground safety classes, CPR training, behavioral management courses, and more. I love a structured environment, and developing something that is just as fun as it is reliable and rewarding. Being a good role model and providing a safe space for a child to learn, grow, and thrive is something I find very rewarding! The opportunity to do rewarding and meaningful work watching children, while also working on my own personal career development is something I’m looking for in an family employer ❤️ I hope to bring nothing but happiness, safety, and reliability to families I work with.
Hi - my name is Nicole and I am a mom of two boys ages 13 and 11. The youngest of 7, I grew up in Michigan where much of my immediate family resides. I played sports in college, had a 14 year career in healthcare sales & marketing, then met my husband & started our family. We are active year round in baseball, I volunteer with our Church where & when needed and specifically with Kids Ministry. I am active but appreciate downtown & recharging. I like a cheat treat to eat, but mostly eat healthy. I am incredibly comfortable with newborns & toddlers, and worked as a nanny for two families, both newborns, before having my first child. With newborns, I’m capable of helping sleep train, create and maintain consistent schedules & activities, solve challenges, and love your precious baby well. Toddlers require healthy boundaries and space to safely experience. I’m up to the task, and will love them well as I tire them out;). I’m happy to drive to appointments, assist with cats and dogs, snacks, light housekeeping relative to the kids, and guidance with any kiddos chores.
Hello, I’m Meriam! I’m a 26 year old woman living in Playa del Rey. I recently moved here after finishing school in Michigan. I have experience babysitting my nieces and nephews from their diaper days all the way into their teenage years. I love being in the company of children and understand the importance of having warm, positive, considerate role models around. I’m more than happy to accomodate any special needs and to help with school work and studying. I also have experience housesitting for family members and family friends, as well as dog walking! I have a dog and two cats of my own, so I’m very familiar with pet personalities, feeding times, ailments, etc. I’m very detail oriented, patient, and empathetic. I value clear, professional communication and maintain high respect for all children, adults, and homes. I’m highly punctual and understand the value of your time! My work background mostly consists of restaurant service, administrative office work, and creative marketing. I’m happy to handle a number of household chores while I’m watching over your child(ren), as well as feed them pre-made meals or snacks! But, I am unable to meal prep or cook family size meals myself, due to strong personal preferences. I spend most of my free time studying for the LSAT, attending fitness classes, reading books, creative writing and drawing, and exploring the beautiful nature and city scenes California has to offer! :) Looking forward to discussing your family’s needs and seeing if I may be an ideal fit.
