I am currently working in a TK classroom at an elementary school in Santa Clara. I also go to school full time. I would like to pick up some occasional babysitting hours in the evenings and on weekends. I have always enjoyed working with children and their families. I have past experience with all ages, infant through school age. My job titles included babysitter, teacher' s aide, teacher and center director. I began babysitting for family friends in high school and later moved on to child care center based positions. I did take a break to be at home with my daughter and was able to take some ECE classes as well. I have experience as the primary caregiver at a nursery center for ages 6 months to 2 years. I was also the director of a Child Development Center as well as a before and after school teacher. I have also cared for young children in my home which included overnight accommodations as needed by the families. I really enjoy a play based atmosphere.
Hello! My name is Kylie, and I’m 22 years old. I’m currently a student at West Valley College with a passion for working with children of all ages and abilities. I have over 12 years of babysitting experience, along with professional childcare experience at The Club at Los Gatos, where I worked with children ranging from 6 months to 12 years old. Growing up with four younger sisters (now ages 9, 15, 16, and 21) has also given me a lifetime of hands-on experience caring for kids. I am certified in CPR, First Aid, and AED through the American Red Cross. I’m happy to help with homework, enjoy planning creative art activities, and always strive to create a safe, fun, and supportive environment where children feel comfortable being themselves. One of my greatest passions is supporting children with special needs and neurodivergent children. I have several years of experience working with children with diverse needs, and one of the most meaningful experiences of my life was caring for an incredible young girl with autism. She inspired my love for working with children and helped shape the career path I hope to pursue. Looking ahead, my dream is to advocate for children's mental health and help improve mental health education and support within schools. Until then, I’m grateful for every opportunity to make a positive difference in the lives of the children and families I work with. I would love the opportunity to care for your little one(s), provide them with a safe, engaging, and nurturing environment, and help make your day just a little easier. I look forward to meeting your family!

✨ Hi Families! My name is Sydney, and I’m a career nanny and family assistant with over 5 years of experience caring for children from infancy through school age. I’m currently represented through a staffing agency as I search for my next long-term family fit, but I’m also here on UrbanSitter because I genuinely love connecting with families and helping wherever I can in the meantime. I would describe myself as calm, warm, organized, and very hands-on. I love creating a home environment where kids feel safe, understood, and comfortable being themselves. Whether that’s helping with routines, planning fun activities, getting outside, helping with homework, or simply being an extra steady support for busy parents, I truly enjoy being someone families can rely on. Along with childcare, I’m happy to help with family assistant style tasks like meal prep, laundry, organization, errands, and keeping things running smoothly day-to-day. I’ve worked in long-term, travel, and rotational roles, so I’m very adaptable and comfortable in busy households. Outside of work, I love mountain biking, swimming, long-distance running, and rock climbing, and I naturally bring a very active and positive energy into my work with kids. 🤍 Right now I’m mainly looking for my next long-term fit, but I’m also open to temporary help, date nights, weekends, and short-term support for families who need an extra hand.
