Hello, I am Donja. I was born and raised in Washington DC. I just finished my 3rd year being a math teacher. I am now a doctoral student taking a break from teaching to nanny in my free time while in school. My interest in kids began after my siblings were born. I am the oldest of four. My passion for babysitting started when I became my family’s go to baby sitter and now after sitting for 5+ years, and 3 years teaching I have enhanced my skills of babysitting for other families. I enjoy taking walks in DC, visiting the museums, and pretty much doing anything adventurous. I also enjoy helping people, and volunteering in the community. I look forward to working with you all!

Hi! My name is Kaidy- I graduated with a B.S. from West Virginia University in 2013, then continued to take classes towards a Master’s degree in Education shortly after. I have worked both as a preschool teacher and a full-time nanny since then. I am offering childcare, such as nanny and babysitting, and pet services. I’ve always loved taking care of kids; I started babysitting at 11 years old and continued that career path through my adulthood. I’ve worked with children off all ages ranging from infants and toddlers (including twins!), all the way through high school age. I have the education and training to care for all different types of children through my work as a Paraprofessional; this includes children with developmental, behavioral, and/or learning disabilities as well as children with autism. In my previous nannying experience, my responsibilities with the children have included (but are not limited to): driving or using public transit to take children to school, museums, parks/playgrounds, and sports; daily arts and crafts; STEM experiments; teaching phonics, basic math, writing skills, and homework help; integrating music through guitar, song and dance; and creating engaging, and often educational, daily games. Additionally, I offer household services to the families I work with, such as: laundry, cleaning general play areas, cooking meals, and running errands. I have both a dog and a cat at home- I love animals! So I am offering pet care services as well. I am trained and certified in infant/child/adult CPR & First Aid, and I have utilized my skills several times working with children. I have successfully preformed the Heimlich Maneuver on separate occasions for a baby and a toddler, as well as identified the signs of a child experiencing an asthma attack and immediately used their rescue inhaler. I have also administered regular medication to children (and pets!) and I feel totally comfortable doing so. I don’t have any children of my own, but I grew up the oldest of 30 first cousins and I have absolutely loved being able to care for them, as well as children of any age and background; to see them grow, and help them flourish, is an honor that I don’t take lightly. I am confident in creating a fun, engaging, and educational experience for your little ones. I hope to show your family the compassion and strong work ethic that I have to offer!

Nickname (preferred): Vicky I have many amazing experience with young children (toddler+), my true love is pup care!! In the past decade I've dog cared for dogs old and young, social and antisocial, and those between homes. In order to give each pup the unique care and experience they deserve, I primarily care for pups one at a time, and only those with whom I can form a genuine bond. Lunchtime and after work walks are my favorite, 1-2x/wk. Regularly scheduled care is preferred. I am fully employed but work from home, and so have flexibility. Whether you have a yard, live in an apartment, or need your pet crated, your pet will always be safe and sound in my care.
Hello, I’m Moira but kids call me Mo. I am a compassionate and dependable caregiver with over 10 years of experience working with children, 2–3 years supporting seniors, and 7 years caring for dogs and cats. I hold a CPR certification and have hands-on experience working with children with disabilities, ensuring care that is patient, inclusive, and tailored to individual needs. My background as an early childhood education teacher deeply shaped my caregiving style. I truly enjoyed creating engaging, educational environments through crafting, play-based learning, and routine-building, helping children not only learn but grow into kind, confident people. I bring that same thoughtful, educational approach to all forms of care. I am naturally nurturing, calm, and attentive, with safety always my number one priority. My goal is to provide a warm, comfortable, and secure environment where children, seniors, and pets feel respected, supported, and cared for as individuals. I take pride in building trusting relationships with families and delivering care that offers both peace of mind and genuine connection.

Nanny with many years of varied experience available for one child (age 3+). I genuinely enjoy talking with kids and standing back a little to allow them to grow and bloom. I love reading (same book, ten times in a row!), art and literacy. I would be interested in helping a child where primary language in the home is not English (I have TESOL certificate). Zero interest in screen time, for myself or for the child. I enjoy physical activity and being outdoors. Excellent companion to any child who might benefit from occasional hours of one-on-one attention during periods of transition or overwhelm. Thank you!
Hello! My name is Megan and I’m currently on summer break as a special education teacher in FCPS. I have a degree in Child Development & Family Studies with a minor in Special Education. I have been working with children since 2019 and can’t imagine doing anything else! I have experience with children of all ages and all abilities. I love planning activities and differentiating them for different skill levels so that no one is left out. Oh, I love all animals from fluffy to scaly too, so pets are not a problem!
Hi! I’m Jill! I’m a mom of two teen boys that has her own wellness business and is looking to fill hours here and there. Prior to owning my own business I worked for a management consulting company, specifically working in technology. I loved my job, but loved my kids more and needed more time with them. fast forward 6 years and they are now very independent and I find myself having more free time. I currently substitute teach when I’m not with my health and wellness coaching clients or running kids wellness parties & camps. I know exactly what it’s like to be a working mom with a high pressure job with young kids. I was fortunate to have my parents local to help me when I had a huge meeting and one of my kids ended up sick. I realize many parents don’t have that luxury. That’s why I’d love to be there to help parents out. Whether it’s an ongoing after school pick up situation or one off “help my child needs a ride to school today”, I’d love to be there. Looking forward to working together, Jill
