Hi - My name is Shantal and I'm currently a Masters of IT student at WGU. I am offering child care, senior care, and household services. I love being a babysitter and have been watching newborns, infants, toddlers, and kids (including twins!) since I was 13 years old. My responsibilities have included driving to/from school, entertaining and keeping children engaged in crafts, tutoring, board games, reading, math, computer science and even dance lessons. I have also work as a household assistant and can cook very delicious meals, light cleaning and tidy up including laundry as well as run errands. I have also been a caretaker for my own parents and grandparents and am comfortable with senior care. I can cook, drive to appointments, or do other tasks. (I am also a great chess partner!) I am CPR and First - Aid certified. I am allergic to cats but happy to work with families with small to medium size dogs.
I have been a CHAMPS volunteer [Monticello, R. A. Long, and Kessler] and working for DCYF as a Special Needs FFN Caregiver for the last 5 years while attending college so I already have my MERIT and STARS numbers. My last position was at Northlake Elementary as a Paraeducator High Needs Extensive[Intensive] watching 13 kids with 2 other para's.
I love kids! For over a decade, I've dedicated myself to nurturing children's growth and providing families with dependable care. My experiences with Care. com, Solano County Office of Education, and Inclusion Film Camp Academy for special needs provides me with a solid foundation for understanding child development. I'm patient, creative, I love to cook, and I strive to make a positive impact on each child's life. I am comfortable caring for up to 4 children, ages 1+ and worked as a paraeducator for special needs. Currently, I work as a college and career development specialist while I achieve my bachelors degree. I communicate with parents through daily reports, verbal updates at pickup, and by honoring your preferred method. I enjoy playing outdoor games, board games, and educational activities. I am also happy to help with cooking, carpooling, light housekeeping, crafts, and swimming supervision. I am certified in First Aid and CPR.

Hi! My name is Jenna, and I am currently enrolled at WGU, where I am completing my teaching credential in Special Education. I am primarily offering childcare services and truly enjoy creating a safe, fun, and nurturing environment where children can learn, grow, and be themselves. I have over 7 years of childcare experience as a nanny, behavioral therapy manager, and school aide. Throughout my career, I have worked with infants, toddlers, school-aged children, and young adults, including individuals with special needs. One of my favorite parts of working with children is watching them gain confidence, discover new interests, and reach milestones. It's incredibly rewarding to be someone who can support and encourage their growth every step of the way. In previous roles, I have provided light cooking, meal preparation, interactive play that encourages learning and development, tutoring, arts and crafts, and transportation to and from activities. I am also happy to help with light housekeeping to make life a little easier for busy families. I am comfortable working in homes with cats and dogs and would be happy to assist with pet care as an additional responsibility. Your child's safety is always my top priority. I am certified in First Aid, CPR, and AED, so you can have peace of mind knowing your child is in capable and caring hands. I would love the opportunity to get to know your family and provide reliable, compassionate care while helping your child learn, explore, and have fun every day.

Hi there! I'm a certified nursing assistant with 6 years of experience, including caring for children from infants to teenagers in both hospital and home settings. I work in a pediatric hospital unit and have professional experience as a nanny and babysitter. I currently nanny for multiple families and am also in school pursuing a degree in elementary education, so my availability is somewhat limited-but I'm always happy to try and work around my schedule to help where I can. I'm CPR/BLS certified through the American Heart Association and previously worked as a lifeguard, so safety is always a top priority. I love engaging children through hands-on play, arts and crafts, pretend games, and outdoor adventures. I also believe in keeping screen time to a minimum and encouraging meaningful, creative, and developmentally appropriate activities. I'd love to connect and see if we're a good fit for each other!
Growing up in Westfield and graduating from Westfield High School in 2014, I have always been deeply connected to my community, especially through childcare. Throughout my childhood, I served as the neighborhood babysitter, gaining invaluable experience by working with children of all ages. My neighbors were foster parents, so I often assisted in caring for children with varying needs, including infants requiring specialized care, such as oxygen tanks and feeding tubes. This exposure gave me both the confidence and compassion necessary to handle diverse childcare situations. For the last 10 years, I have worked in the restaurant industry. While I learned a great deal about responsibility, customer service, and teamwork, I am now looking for a more fulfilling career path—one that brings me back to what I love: helping my local community and working closely with children. I find joy in creating a safe, nurturing environment where children can thrive. In addition to my experience, I bring a strong sense of reliability. I don’t smoke or drink, and I have a dependable mode of transportation, ensuring I can consistently meet the needs of families in the Zionsville, Carmel, and Westfield areas. I am eager to return to child care and offer my skills, love, and attention to families seeking a trustworthy caregiver.
