I'm an outgoing, energetic, friendly person who loves children! I'm an outdoors kind of girl, I love sports and playing outside as well as spending my time crafting, and reading. I'm happy to help with any household chores, errands, travel, cleaning and more! I've always worked with kids. I started working with an after school care program and loved it. From there I have worked with various family in my area with children ranging from 9 months to 12 years old, so I have a well rounded experience in child care. Hey you :) My name is Amara and I have recently moved back to the US after working abroad for 2 years. Professionally, I am a Mechanical Engineer, but as I am considering a life/career change, I am temporarily looking for part time work. I am an aunt to 4 boys and 2 grand nephews, a cat mom and have had a lot of experience over the years caring for children and different pets (cats, dogs, hamsters, even a bearded dragon!). I have cared for children within my family as well as for non family members. (infants, toddlers, young children, 10+) I am a great home cook (one of my passions is food/cooking). I also have about 5 years of experience with math tutoring and general educational guidance/coaching (mostly for grades 6 through college, but willing to tutor lower grades as well.)
