Hiya! My name's Brett. I'm a childcare worker and teacher with seven years of professional experience. I currently work as an elementary school tutor in North Seattle. I've previously worked as a behavioral interventionist, student mentor, and summer camp counselor. My life's passion is bringing happiness to children, encouraging their learning and creativity, and just having fun! My childcare approach is based on empathy, responsibility, and compassion. When children are treated with respect and held accountable for their actions, it teaches them to be responsible, independent, and have a strong sense of self-worth. Outside of childcare, I love writing (fiction and poetry), drawing, reading, video games, and spending time in the outdoors.
