Hi! I’m Taylor , a reliable, energetic, and patient sitter with 8 years of experience working with kids of all ages. I’m EMT-trained and CPR/First Aid certified, so safety is always my top priority. I’ve spent the past 8 years creating fun, engaging environments where kids can learn and play. Hi I'm Deb. I have two grown children now. When my youngest was small, I cared for another child in our home. I adored presenting activities for the two of them to explore the world and be creative. At various times, I homeschooled both of my kids. I have a master's degree, and for the past 3 years have been pouring my energy into my business,[removed] a confidential listening service, but the income is not there to take care of my financial needs. I have a dog, and my grand cat lives in Texas, where my daughter is enrolled in a PhD program at Baylor College of Medicine. My son lives nearby and serves the National Guard while pursuing his degree at TMCC in welding and he also works at Home Depot. I am very proud that my now adult kids are so successful on their own. I believe in the power of active listening and teaching emotional intelligence to children--it's necessary to show them how, and they will discover their own power. My daughter is a black belt in aikido, and I spent many hours driving her to classes. My son participated in fencing and swimming. If that's needed, I'm open to it. Cooking and cleaning are also in my wheelhouse, though I do prefer baking to cooking. My grandmother used to professionally clean houses, and while I don't have the standard she did, I am absolutely a fan of "Better than it was!" And making sure that the environment is always safe.
