Batool $26 per hour for 1 child

Hello! My name is Batool and I am new to this app but not new to this role— I have 10 years of experience working in after-school care, homework help, newborn care, as well as working with senior citizens and caring for pets. I’m trained in CPR/First Aid and have experience caring for newborns as early as five weeks to folks who are in their 80s-90s. I’m passionate about caring for my community and my employment roles have always involved providing care, though I have nannied privately as well. I’m happy to talk more about my experience and provide references. In my free time, I enjoy reading, yoga, and getting outside in the sun! I love creating new and exciting opportunities to connect with children through art projects or creative games. I’m excited to meet folks in my neighborhood and happy to discuss my availability further.

Carly $35 per hour for 1 child

Hello! My name is Carly and I'm 29 years old. I have watched many kids over the years since I was around 14, as I used to babysit - and still babysit - my 2nd baby cousins and I have also babysat professionally through the Trusted app from August 2017-December 2017 and had to briefly take a break since I went to study abroad the following semester. I’ve babysat kids from months old up until about 7 years old throughout the years, though. I am back and ready to spend time with these sweet, imaginative kids! I love spending time with babies or kids because they have such amazing, intelligent minds and I love to watch them grow whether it is by height or through improvements in their education or just through their personality. I am really into arts and crafts and love to be active, so keeping up is really no problem for me. I can speak a bit of Spanish if you’d like me to speak with your child in conversational Spanish :)

Serena $35 per hour for 1 child

Hey! My name is Serena, with 2 years of professional nanny experience and 8 years of being the family nanny. I have experience with kiddos aged from 3 months to 14 years old. I've had experience with being the family babysitter since i was 15 years old. I offer childcare services, cooking for the kiddo(s), bath time, tidying up areas the kiddo and I use, and light laundry if need be. Some activities I typically do range from arts and craft activities, making baked goods/smoothies, reading books, outside play to tire them out, and board games. For younger kids I typically do more age appropriate activities, like sensory box play, tummy time, flash cards of numbers and letters. Additionally, I have experience driving kids around in former parents cars. I have reliable transportation so a commute won't be an issue. I am BLS (basic life support) certified, CPR and AED certified as well. I will provide my certification card (along with my Covid vaccination card), references and resume upon request.

Maura 2 reviews
$28 per hour for 1 child

Hello, I'm Maura. I'm 32 years old, I live in Oakland CA. I'm a very responsible, honest, kind and very patient person. I'm very dedicated to my work. I'm very flexible. I have experience taking care of children and babies. I'm certified in CPR. I speak Spanish and a little English. I really love taking care of children very well. I care about their well-being. I have my own vehicle and I have a valid California driver's license. I really enjoy going out outdoors with the children. Make their days dynamic and happy. I give a very safe environment to children. I like to play and make dynamics according to their ages. I really care that the children's days are very nutritious and positive. I like to work with families and adapt to their needs. I am very flexible to their opinions. I like to help families with their routines such as light cleaning, tidying

“Maura has managed to care for our 1 and 3 year old at the same time without issue. She integrated into our family smoothly and quickly which was very helpful as these transitions can take time for some. She is very intelligent, I was impressed how she caught on quickly to our Elimination Communication (EC) routine with our youngest and helped keep all of that progressing. Maura would take them to the park each day for 2-3 hours so they had a lot of time outdoors which we love, plus she has a lot of energy to keep up with them! She is very capable of all the usual expectations like food prep, cleaning, pottying and nap times. Very respectful of our family values and requests (no screen time, etc.). Most importantly to us was the extremely warm and tender way that she cared for our children, we will never forget that. The children adore her. Our family in no longer in need of routine childcare but we hope to stay in touch with her, as we have all enjoyed the relationships that were established. Maura is truly a gem, and during a time where it’s incredibly difficult to find quality caregivers we feel so lucky to have found Maura.”

"When we hired Amani, we felt like we hit the jackpot. We were very lucky to find her on UrbanSitter at the beginning of school year. She was picking up kids from school, taking them to afternoon activities, helping them with assignments. She prepped food for them, helped organize their closets and keep their spaces neat and orderly. We would hire her again in a heartbeat."
