Communication is the biggest key for me and I love listening to my lil client's stories all day! In a nutshell I am fun, responsible, reliable and have a lot of energy. My philosophy is that your child is as much of a client as you are, I customize my care to the needs of the client. Please note I am available to work holidays but charge time and a half for those days. New Years Eve is double. Policies: I have a 4 hour minimum booking policy. CANCELLATIONS: For cancellations with less than 24 hours notice, I expect 50% of the original booking amount, which can be paid via PayPal or Venmo. EARLY RETURNS: Because I plan my time and budget around the hours booked, I ask to be paid for the entire booking, even if you come home early. LATE RETURNS: I'm usually flexible on the end time of a booking, but please text/call me if you'll be late, especially if we have not discussed flexibility beforehand. I occasionally book jobs back to back with just enough time for travel in between, and your late return can have an unfortunate impact on my schedule. For nanny shares I charge $20 per child.

Hello, my name is Mallory. I'm originally from Phoenix, Arizona. I graduated as a pharmacy technician from Carrington College in May 2012. I've been a nanny on and off since 2004, full-time since 2012. I've watched children of all ages, the youngest being 13 days old, and have loved all of it. I enjoy doing crafts, helping with homework, playing games, having dance parties, and walking to the park. Personal policies: -I do not accept strictly driving jobs. -I will not work with contagious children. -I will not work with parents who work from home and cannot bypass the children during that time in order to avoid separation issues. -I do not work with attachment parenting in the no boundary/no discipline sense. *I fully support sleep training and the cry-it-out method when approached appropriately* Payment policy: -Parents must agree to pay for each entire booking, regardless of the time actually worked. -When parents are late, I charge time in 15-minute increments. Cancellation policy: 48 hours notice = 50% of booking, or at least $50. 24 hours notice = full payment of booking.

I take on a positive and nurturing approach to childcare. Instead of emphasizing the negative side or outcome of an unwanted behavior, I focus on redirecting each child towards healthy alternative activities, tasks, or desirable behaviors. By refraining from saying, "No", I strive to put more attention on a desired behavior. I am very patient and I absolutely love learning. With that I would say that patience plays a major role when both learning and caring for children. I absolutely aspire for children to feel safe, heard, and loved in result making myself available to all their emotional, physical and mental needs to the best of my expertise. I aim for the child to maintain their ability to think in a clear manner and create good decisions. As for regulating children's emotions, I guide them to slow down and respond to situations in a calm manner. I am booking occasional nights and daytime care as my schedule is open. I am seeking a part time or fulltime job in San Francisco, Berkeley, Albany, Oak. I am also working evening or daytime occasional care. After finishing a 14 month position a FT job with a 1.5- turning 2.5 child I had a 3 month temp job with a 1.5 year old. I have worked as a full time Nanny and Preschool teacher for 20 years in SF, Berkeley and Oakland. Truly Outdoorsy! I have enthusiastically enjoyed caring for the ages of 2-5 from age 18. Most of the families that I have worked with the past 8 years have left the area but are still fabulous references. I never used an agency. 2.5 Years I worked as nanny in Berkeley to a 1- 4 year old in Berkeley, 4 plus years recently, and numerous families in SF during 2021- 22. I am a graduate of San Francisco State University where I earned a BA in Child and Adolescent Development with a concentration in youth work and out of school time as well as a Minor in Africana studies. I also have a Masters (MA) in Drama Therapy at CIIS. For the last few years, I have worked as a coordinator for different youth programs throughout the Bay. A lot of the work I do centers on culture, healing, Mental Health, Restorative Justice, etc. I have been working with children for Almost a decade now. I started off babysitting for local families back in San Diego. Then it was more infant and toddler care. Right into college I worked in preschools for two years then went into summer and after school programs with school-age kids, and following that I was a camp counselor at a radical healing retreat with high school students. I now write curriculum for one of the summer programs I work for and after being a coordinator for both programs I am now a full time program manger. I am super into creativity and socio-emotional development along with education and safety. I pride my self in making children feel safe to learn and express themselves as well as discover who they are as individuals. I love supporting youth in all their endeavors and I truly have a natural understanding, patience, and connection with children.
