My name is Claudia and I am 36 years old. I was born and raised in Colombia. While I was in Colombia free I took care of my little cousins in my free time. I would bathe them, feed them and played with them. Some weekends after school, I took care of my neighbors kids while they were at work. I would help on their homework, and also on school projects. We would do little arts and crafts activities once a week. I have experience with twins, triplets. I am currently taking care of 2 years old twins during the week, until middle on November. I'm looking for something full time over the week for starting the next month and weekends.I'm available .I can offer Spanish lessons to the children without any hassle. I am a responsible, honest, friendly, patient, and organized person who likes to help around.

$30 per hour for 1 child
Booked by 15 families in Castro Valley, CA

Hi, I’m Antonia. I have worked as a nanny for 17+ years and am a mother of three boys, ages 14, 5, and 10 months. I am currently looking for a new family to work with, ideally caring for a child between 0–3 years old alongside my youngest son. I truly enjoy working with children and becoming a supportive part of a family’s daily life. I am experienced in helping children through developmental and behavioral milestones, including sleep and nap routines, eating habits, sharing and taking turns, potty training, and preparing for preschool. I love spending time outdoors with kids and enjoy taking them to parks, playgrounds, and the library for play, learning, and socialization. I speak three languages: English, Spanish, and Mam (a Guatemalan language). Over the years, I have worked with more than 10 families, and I still stay in contact with nearly all of them. References are available upon request. I am also open to a nanny share and flexible on rates and hours, as long as the overall arrangement meets my family’s needs. In addition, I have participated in my own nanny shares with each of my three boys when they were infants, and I can provide references from the families I worked with during those arrangements. I am available to start anytime.

Antonia was incredible! She was quick to respond to my request for a last minute job and arrived promptly despite the early start time and roughly an hour of notice. She was warm and kind and had my stranger anxious baby smiling in no time! I am so happy to have found Antonia!

I have about two years of experience caring for families outside and within urban sitter with CPR certification and a clean driving record. I have experience working at a day center and as a teachers assistant with special needs children. I’ve developed strong childcare expertise with managing routines, engaging with children through educational and playful activities. Alongside my work in childcare, I am pursuing a college degree in psych, focusing on child development. However, i am currently taking a gap year. I am also a highly responsible, consistent, nurturing, and supportive individual who takes pride in being apart of children’s lives!

Nat was absolutely amazing, and we couldn’t have asked for a better experience. From the moment she arrived, she was warm, professional, and incredibly attentive. She took the time to understand all of our instructions and followed them carefully, which immediately gave us peace of mind. She was also wonderful with our dog, Brody. Nat was so patient, gentle, and caring with him that he quickly became comfortable in her presence. Most importantly, she was fantastic with our son. Toddlers can definitely have their moments, and our son had a few emotional outbursts while we were away. Nat handled each one with incredible patience, kindness, and compassion. She never seemed flustered and approached every situation with a calm, nurturing attitude that made us feel completely confident he was in great hands. It’s not easy finding someone who is both dependable and genuinely caring, but Nat exceeded all of our expectations. We truly appreciated her attentiveness, communication, and the level of care she provided to our entire family. We will absolutely be using Nat again in the future and are looking forward to having her back. We highly recommend her to any family looking for someone who is trustworthy, patient, compassionate, and exceptional with children and pets.

"When we hired Amani, we felt like we hit the jackpot. We were very lucky to find her on UrbanSitter at the beginning of school year. She was picking up kids from school, taking them to afternoon activities, helping them with assignments. She prepped food for them, helped organize their closets and keep their spaces neat and orderly. We would hire her again in a heartbeat."
