Booked by 1 family in Castro Valley, CA

Hi everyone! I’m Daniela :) I’m currently a student at San Jose State University. I am offering child care and tutoring services, running errands, anything you might need help with! Communication is important! I love working with kids and have been babysitting since I was fifteen years old. I currently work at a family home daycare as a teacher assistant where I care for children from infants to four years old. I help kids learn shapes, colors, and other basics, and I also offer tutoring for older kids. Families can count on me to be patient, attentive, and trustworthy with their little ones!

“Daniela arrived a few minutes early for our scheduled booking, was very sweet, and immediately engaged with both of our kids. She followed all instructions, kept the kids happy and entertained, and they both really liked her. We had a great experience and would happily book her again.”

Elizabeth $27 per hour for 1 child

I am a mother of a three-year-old toddler, and working with children has always been a true passion of mine. From 2023 to 2025, I worked as an after-school program teacher where I managed a classroom of up to 25 children independently. In this role, I gained hands-on experience in leadership, classroom management, and creating a safe, engaging environment for kids to learn and grow. Before becoming an instructor, I was always the go-to family babysitter. I have experience with all ages - from diaper changes and feedings to helping with homework and daily routines. During my time as an after-school teacher, I also worked with children with special needs, where I developed strong skills in patience, problem-solving, de-escalation, and quick thinking in challenging situations. I have completed multiple trainings, including CPR certification, and I hold an Instructional Aide certificate. Overall, caring for children truly brings me joy. I strive to create a safe, nurturing, and fun environment where every child feels supported and valued

I’m also an older sister, so caring for kids comes naturally to me. I’m Filipino and fluent in If you’re interested, please message me for more info.

“Sophia did a great job taking care of our children, aged seven and nine. She arrived on time and was friendly and professional. The kids loved her! They played a lot of fun and creative games, and the kids had a blast! She kept them on schedule with dinner and bedtime, and both kids were asleep in bed 30 minutes before their bedtime. Our dog, who is a little scared of strangers, immediately trusted her and stayed by her side until we got home. Sophia also did a great job straightening up and doing little chores around the house. We highly recommend Sophia, and would love her to babysit again ”

"When we hired Amani, we felt like we hit the jackpot. We were very lucky to find her on UrbanSitter at the beginning of school year. She was picking up kids from school, taking them to afternoon activities, helping them with assignments. She prepped food for them, helped organize their closets and keep their spaces neat and orderly. We would hire her again in a heartbeat."
