I grew up in Nebraska with my mother having an in-home daycare and helped out with it after school and during the summer(from age 10 or 11 till 19 when I moved to California) I nannied a few summers and worked for a group home for mentally disabled teens and adults. Once I moved to California I worked at the daycare in 24 hour fitness. I then nannied for a child from 14months till about 2 and a half. He sadly (for me) went to Montessori School full time. I then jumped back into working with adults with disabilities. Then I worked with a kid with disabilities for a few years and moved onto a school. Which I currently do now I work in a sped classroom in an elementary school.

Spending time with kids comes naturally. Honestly, I learn so much about myself as an adult-But beyond that, kids remind me that it's the little things that matter, and I also get to see so many different types of personalities in babies!!!. I've been babysitting since I was 11 years old, I'm the oldest of over 60 kids in my huge Mexican family, so I've been babysitting for a LONG time! I started professionally babysitting when I turned 18, so I've gained experience working with different families. On the side I am a Behavior Technician. We work on communication and speech skills together in school and home settings while running programs targeted for their needs!
