$30 per hour for 1 child
Booked by 2 families in Diablo, CA

Decades as a preschool teacher across the SF Bay Área working with ages 0 to 7, focused on Spanish-immersion and play-based care that supports emotional and developmental growth.

“Leyla is a true gem. She used to be a daycare teacher and has been our nanny -- both individual and as part of a share -- for the past 9 months. She's been such an attentive and sweet caretaker who sings to the babies, helps with their food prep, and plays with them all day. In addition, she sends detailed summaries of what/how much the babies ate/drank during the day and their nap schedules. She can easily handle two little ones (even taking them to the park!) and is extremely reliable. She's originally from Peru and is also a skilled cook. We miss her already.”

Hello families! I am a patient, responsible, and caring caregiver with more than ten years of experience caring for and supporting children, seniors, and families. As a mother, I understand how important safety, patience, and trust are. I can help with meal preparation, grocery shopping, errands, companionship, walks, transportation to medical appointments, and daily routines. I enjoy reading, outdoor activities, music, and creating a calm and positive environment for children. I am also comfortable with pets. I speak Persian and English, have reliable transportation, and hold a current First Aid certification. My background in customer service, education, photography, and community work has helped me become organized, dependable, creative, and respectful toward people from different cultures and backgrounds. I listen carefully to each family’s needs and always treat children, seniors, and their families with kindness and respect.

Hi, there! I am an authentically enthusiastic, welcoming, & dedicated experiential education professional, skilled in making joyful and meaningful connections with others, particularly children & youth. I have over 20 years experience working with children and youth in outdoor education, 3.5 years experience as a private nanny (ages 1-4), and 13 years experience as a mom (successfully raising 2 children since birth). :-) I have a B.A. and M.S. in Recreation (with a focus on youth programming), I have an active Wilderness First Responder certification (advanced medical training), and I drive groups of students regularly for outdoor excursions. I am equally passionate about outdoor education and early childhood development, so nature play/exploration is an integral part of my nanny care! Outdoor education focuses on learning through experience, saying “yes” to try, and being curious about the world around us. I am creative, dedicated, easy-going, and a self-starter yet love working as a team. In addition to outdoor exploration, I integrate songs, art, baking, and field trips (e.g., zoos) into my work with children, and I bring a global perspective of having visited 17 countries. I would love to explore this opportunity to work with you and your precious little one(s)!

$30 per hour for 1 child
Booked by 6 families in Diablo, CA

Hello! My name is Brianna Tancioco, and I’m a 26-year-old caregiver with six years of babysitting and nanny experience. I originally began caregiving to support myself through college, but over time I discovered how much I truly love working with children and building long-term, meaningful relationships with families. I have extensive hands-on experience caring for children from newborns through 13 years old, including siblings close in age. I’m comfortable managing different routines, personalities, and developmental stages, and I enjoy helping siblings learn how to coexist, cooperate, and grow together. I value consistency, clear boundaries, and positive reinforcement, and I’m happy to help instill good habits like cleaning up after themselves while also stepping in when extra support is needed. Aside from nannying, my hobbies include photography, traveling, and learning about different cultures. I run a photography club called @sf_clickcollective, where I host monthly photowalks and bring people together to explore new places through photography. As for my photography, I post it on @brianna._.clicks I also love learning about different cultures and hope to one day live in Japan. I’m currently studying Japanese and working toward earning my Japanese language certificate so I can continue growing my connection with the culture.

“Brianna was warm and charming and very kind with Zoe.”

She has no problem making dinner for the kids and always leaves the house looking clean and tidy. She’s also great with animals and can take good care of your furry children as well! I always feel good leaving such a kind and dependable girl like Tati in charge of things.”

"When we hired Amani, we felt like we hit the jackpot. We were very lucky to find her on UrbanSitter at the beginning of school year. She was picking up kids from school, taking them to afternoon activities, helping them with assignments. She prepped food for them, helped organize their closets and keep their spaces neat and orderly. We would hire her again in a heartbeat."
