I have pet sat, house sat, and babysat for years, professionally, on the side of my main job. Before my resignation, I worked at Starbucks as a barista and barista trainer for five years. Staying clean and organized during chaos is one of my biggest strengths, as well as having a sharp memory and great people skills. In my free time, I love to play with my cats, Frankie and Carol, take my family's dog, Sandy, out to the park, read and write literary fiction, and volunteer at different organizations. Hello Families! I have been a nanny and babysitter for the past seven years. My journey began as a Kid's Club attendant at an Equinox gym. From there, I built bonds with the children and their parents whom eventually hired me to babysit their children for date nights and day time hours so they can run errands. I eventually became a part-time nanny for a few families resulting in various age groups I would get to play, read, and hang out with. I have experience in newborn, infant care, toddler care. Through my experience, I have built knowledge and stay up to date with appropriate age development. I hold a degree in Recreational Tourism Management. My favorite days as a nanny are park days. My least favorite days are none. That's the best thing about this gig, children never bring about a bad day. I look forward to meeting new families and playing, crafting, reading with children of all age groups.

Hey I’m Nami. I’ve been babysitting for a few years and Ive always taken care of my younger siblings/cousins growing up. I’m CPR/First Aid certified, and I’m always happy to follow any specific routines or rules your family has. I take pride in being reliable and communicative, and I genuinely care about each child I work with. Clear communication is important to me so I can always send check ins or share updates if wanted. I have experience working with students from elementary through high school, including special education. I worked for a private agency that specialized in children with special needs/behavioral issues as well. Willing to do any cooking/cleaning needed. Non-smoker and have reliable transportation!

“Very reliable and punctual. Felt confident leaving my kid in her care. I recommend to anyone looking for a baby sitter. Going to book again.”

"When we hired Amani, we felt like we hit the jackpot. We were very lucky to find her on UrbanSitter at the beginning of school year. She was picking up kids from school, taking them to afternoon activities, helping them with assignments. She prepped food for them, helped organize their closets and keep their spaces neat and orderly. We would hire her again in a heartbeat."
