Hi! I'm Kethlen. I'm originally from Brazil and moved to San Francisco in 2019 to work as an au pair. Since then, I've been working as a nanny and family assistant for families throughout the Bay Area. For the past four years, I've worked as a Family Assistant with families in Marin County, helping with childcare, school pick-ups, household organization, errands, meal prep, and keeping busy households running smoothly. I’m a devoted mother of two adult children, including a daughter with special needs who was born prematurely. Doctors didn’t expect her to survive, but with my constant, loving care like that of a nurse she grew strong. That experience taught me deep patience, medical awareness, and how to nurture with compassion. I’ve also cared for children and elderly family members, as in my culture we show great respect and love for our elders. Most recently, I cared for a baby here in the U.S., giving me hands-on experience with infants in a new environment. I’m very patient, attentive, and trustworthy. I’m a doula, Montessori, Waldorf- inspired educator & somatic movement therapist specializing in alignment. My natural experience includes mothering of three school age children including twins. I’ve supported parents in positive parenting and child led learning. My Waldorf inspired experience comes from being avid volunteer at my children’s school as the librarian and supporting the art programs. I hold a MA in Adapted Physical Education and Minor in child development. In addition to helping families with newborns I have been a house/ estate manager overseeing construction, interior design, feng shui, organization and baby proofing households.
