Hi! I'm Kethlen. I'm originally from Brazil and moved to San Francisco in 2019 to work as an au pair. Since then, I've been working as a nanny and family assistant for families throughout the Bay Area. For the past four years, I've worked as a Family Assistant with families in Marin County, helping with childcare, school pick-ups, household organization, errands, meal prep, and keeping busy households running smoothly. I'm currently a student at College of Marin, so I'm looking for part-time and occasional babysitting or family assistant opportunities that fit around my class schedule. I'm reliable, organized, patient, and genuinely enjoy working with children and supporting families. I'd love to connect if you're looking for someone dependable who can jump in when you need an extra hand!

$30 per hour for 1 child
Booked by 6 families in Marshall, CA

I’m a devoted mother of two adult children, including a daughter with special needs who was born prematurely. Doctors didn’t expect her to survive, but with my constant, loving care like that of a nurse she grew strong. That experience taught me deep patience, medical awareness, and how to nurture with compassion. I’ve also cared for children and elderly family members, as in my culture we show great respect and love for our elders. Most recently, I cared for a baby here in the U.S., giving me hands-on experience with infants in a new environment. I’m very patient, attentive, and trustworthy. Caring for others isn’t just my job it’s my passion.

Mina is a warm and lovely caretaker. Our 3 year old son took to her immediately. We were working from home while she watched him, and it sounded like they had lots of fun! She took him for walks around the yard and played in the house when he wanted to go back in. Especially when he was a bit sad and missed mom and dad, she comforted him and got him happy again within 20 minutes. We will hopefully be hiring Mina in the future when we are staying in the area!

I’m a doula, Montessori, Waldorf- inspired educator & somatic movement therapist specializing in alignment. My natural experience includes mothering of three school age children including twins. I’ve supported parents in positive parenting and child led learning. My Waldorf inspired experience comes from being avid volunteer at my children’s school as the librarian and supporting the art programs. I hold a MA in Adapted Physical Education and Minor in child development. In addition to helping families with newborns I have been a house/ estate manager overseeing construction, interior design, feng shui, organization and baby proofing households.

Punctual, resourceful, and helpful and engaged my children very well. I was very pleased with Kimberly's assistance and would not hesitate to have her over again.

Booked by 1 family in Marshall, CA

Hi! My name is Stephanie, and I’m currently a student at Dominican University of California. I have several years of experience working with children of all ages, including toddlers and twins. I currently work at a preschool and an after-school program, where I’ve developed a strong ability to care for, engage, and support children in a safe, fun, and nurturing environment. I am patient, creative, and attentive, and I enjoy planning activities that promote learning and development. Whether it’s helping with homework, preparing meals, or creating a structured routine, I am committed to making sure every child feels cared for and happy. I look forward to meeting you and your family! Additionally, I'm capable of cooking(I'm a great cook), handling light housekeeping duties, and driving if needed. My priority is always the safety and well-being of your children, coupled with ensuring they have a fun and enriching experience under my care. I look forward to the opportunity to meet you and your family soon!

Stephanie has babysat my 22months old daughter twice so far and we plan to continue hiring her. She was the first person besides family ever babysat my daughter and we were very impressed how she quickly was able to earn her trust over. She played with her, sent us photo updates while my husband and I were out on our date, fed her and cleaned up. My daughter had a great time and gave her two big hugs before she left. Besides being a great and responsible babysitter, her personal story is also an inspiration. Highly recommended Stephanie!

"We absolutely LOVE Isa — our family was so fortunate to have found her through UrbanSitter. I'm a first-time mom, and it took me a long time to find a full-time nanny I could trust to care for our sweet infant boy. Our boy connected with her immediately, and we couldn't have asked for anyone else to care for him. Her calming presence was also perfect for parents like us who work from home. We feel so lucky UrbanSitter helped us find someone who has truly become a part of our family."

"I was so stressed about finding a part-time nanny for my 14-month-old son, who has moderate separation anxiety and hadn't been left with anyone but family before, but we were both immediately at ease in Buhay's presence. Her empathy and commitment to understanding child development are apparent in every interaction I've witnessed between her and my toddler. I feel very lucky to have found her."

"Erna watched our now 5 year old daughter and 3 year old son for a few years. She is punctual, responsible, honest, and playful. What we appreciated most was that she was thoughtful in ensuring that we had a little break; for example, when the kids were clingy, she was able to divert their attention with games or songs or walks to the park. We felt very comfortable leaving our kids with Erna because of her caring nature and experience that spans a decade (including being a live-in nanny)."
