When I was a teen, I discovered that I had a tremendous passion for making kids laugh, learning how and why kids think the way they do, and simply being in a happy-spirited environment. My first babysitting job consisted of three children when I was only 15 years old. Yes, it was a handful but I learned to work around the unexpected interaction. Since then I was recommend to more than five different families, which is when I learned I could not use the same babysitting skill or routine for each family. Furthermore, as a psychology major, I have enhanced my leadership skills as a tutor in two educational programs: Coleman Leap and Next Generation Scholars.
