Hi! My name is Tiffany, and I’m 22 years old. I’ve been a professional nanny for over 5 years and have had the opportunity to work with more than 50 wonderful families. I’ve cared for children of all ages, from newborns to elementary-aged kids, in both full-time and part-time roles, nanny shares, date nights, and occasional care. Before becoming a nanny, I coached gymnastics for young children, which is where I realized how much I genuinely love working with kids. I am currently studying child and adolescent development and I have over 3 years of experience working with children professionally. My favorite thing about working with kids is the mutual learning that occurs! I love to find ways to connect through activities based on a child’s interest, whether it be baking, arts and crafts, enjoying nature or physical activity, i love to be involved! I think kids deserve to be heard, and to make decisions for themselves with guided options to choose from. I have been working with kids for about 6 years now, not including my volunteer work for OUSD. I am 25 years old, born and raised here in Oakland. I love working with children and what I have learned working with youth is the impact one can have on them. I have learned that children need a patient and understanding adult so they can succeed and thrive. Also, I get to learn a lot from kids! Every child is different and I love to learn from them. Outside of work, I like to spend the evenings with my dog and take him to the park or on walks.
