Hello, my name is Monique I have 18 years of experience working with children, including jobs at babysitting, being a nanny and work with autism children. I've been babysitting regularly for the last 18 years. My experience, combined with my CPR and first aid certification. And also have a 22 & 21 year old young adults and 13 month old baby. So I have personal experience with my own children. My most recent Babysitter position was with a family of five whose children ranged from ages 2 to 12. I'm sure you can imagine the constant commotion involved in caring for five children, but it's the kind of challenge I find fun and exciting. Three days a week, I helped the older kids get ready for school and then stayed with the younger children until their parents got home from work. During the day, the younger children and I would play games, do arts and crafts, enjoy educational activities and have a home-cooked lunch. I was also available to care for the older children when they stayed home sick from school or to babysit nights and weekends when the parents wanted a date night. My clients have often expressed appreciation for my adaptability, enthusiasm and ability to handle any type of situation. Since my most recent clients moved out of state for a job promotion, I currently have a very flexible schedule, including nights and weekends. Hi! I’m a 22-year-old college student at San José State University majoring in Social Work with a minor in Child & Adolescent Development. I’m CPR certified, have a valid driver’s license, and have my own reliable car. I have several years of experience working with children. I recently completed a school district internship where I worked one-on-one with children ages 4–12 in a middle school wellness center, and I currently work at an after-school care program Monday–Friday from 3–5 PM. My schedule may occasionally include minimum days, so my availability can vary. I’ve also worked at summer camps for the past 4 summers, working with children from kindergarten through 4th grade. As a camp counselor, I was responsible for a group of 8 children during activities, pool time, and field trips.
