Hello! I’m seeking date-night, weekend and part-time sitting. Flexible schedule during school breaks and holidays! I coach preschool/ recreational gymnastics and support our camp program in Emeryville. I’m one of 7 kids and have 6 nieces & nephews! I completed my Master’s Degree in Counseling Psychology with a K-12 School Counselor credential from USF. I’ve been an educator for over 20 yrs working as a teacher, school counselor, coach, tutor and nanny. My childcare experience started at age 12 as sitter in my neighborhood and watching my younger siblings. I provided part-time and full-time nannying, evening sitting, emergency/ back-up care and on-going sitting in the Bay Area, (Boston, MA), (Austin, TX), and my home state of Michigan. During graduate school, I interned at a middle school and a high school. I was a high school counselor for 5 years and a middle school counselor this past year. My internships and counseling roles provide me with training in social-emotional development, academic support, crisis intervention, counseling therapies, individual and group therapy, peer mediation and positive reinforcement. Hello! I was born and raised in Austria and came to the US as an Au-pair 20 years ago, so I also speak fluent German. It's simple really, I love children and they love me. As an Aries I am an eternal child and relate to children very easily. I enjoy reading with them, doing arts and crafts, building forts and being outside. I also like to include them into chores in a playful way to keep them humble and make them feel accomplished. Communication is the biggest key for me and I love listening to my lil client's stories all day! In a nutshell I am fun, responsible, reliable and have a lot of energy. My philosophy is that your child is as much of a client as you are, I customize my care to the needs of the client. Please note I am available to work holidays but charge time and a half for those days. New Years Eve is double. Policies: I have a 4 hour minimum booking policy. CANCELLATIONS: For cancellations with less than 24 hours notice, I expect 50% of the original booking amount, which can be paid via PayPal or Venmo. EARLY RETURNS: Because I plan my time and budget around the hours booked, I ask to be paid for the entire booking, even if you come home early. LATE RETURNS: I'm usually flexible on the end time of a booking, but please text/call me if you'll be late, especially if we have not discussed flexibility beforehand. I occasionally book jobs back to back with just enough time for travel in between, and your late return can have an unfortunate impact on my schedule. For nanny shares I charge $20 per child.

Lol) I am a 30 year-old alumna of California State University - Sacramento, where I earned a degree in Business Communications and Marketing with a minor in Africana studies. I come from a large Nigerian family and I’m the second of five children. Growing up, my mother, who is a labor and delivery nurse, taught me everything there is to know about infant and child care and development. I worked full-time as a professional nanny from 2020 to 2024. When I began with the family, they had a 3-month-old. During my tenure, I also cared for their second child who was born in 2023, raising both until my departure.
