My caregiving journey started with my own family, helping care for my grandfather who had asthma and later my father during his recovery from a brain hemorrhage. Those experiences played a big role in inspiring me to pursue nursing. I also have professional caregiving experience. In 2025, I worked at a care home in Union City, where I cared for up to five clients per shift. I’ve also worked as an Activity Assistant at a rehabilitation center in Oakland, and most recently provided one-on-one care for a client in his home and continued caring for him through the later stage of his life. I’m CPR/BLS and First Aid certified and comfortable assisting with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, feeding, mobility and transfers, medication reminders, meal preparation, transportation, errands, light housekeeping, and companionship. I’m patient, compassionate, dependable, respectful, and attentive, with a cheerful and caring personality. I enjoy talking, listening, laughing, and building genuine connections with the people I care for. Most importantly, I want the person I’m caring for to feel safe, comfortable, respected, and genuinely cared for.
