“Anna has been an incredible caregiver for our family and I recommend her highly. She cares for our two boys, ages 9 and 10, and is warm, dependable, responsible, and genuinely invested in them. I trust her completely driving them to school, sports, activities, and appointments in her own car, and she is excellent at keeping track of busy schedules and making sure everyone gets where they need to be. What I especially appreciate about Anna is that she takes initiative. She helps with meals and snacks, keeps things organized, and notices what needs to be done without needing constant direction. She is also patient and caring with the boys while still being able to manage the energy and independence of school-age kids. Anna has made our family’s day-to-day life significantly easier, and my boys have developed a wonderful relationship with her. She is someone I feel completely comfortable entrusting my children to, and I would absolutely recommend her to another family.”

Hello there! 👋 My name is Andy, and I bring almost 15 years of professional childcare experience (including 5 years of being a live-in nanny) working with children ranging in age from 1 month to 15 years old. I’ve been on Urbansitter since 2013! In addition to my nannying background, I have 11 years of experience as a trusted dog sitter, house sitter, family assistant and house manager...helping busy households run smoothly by offering support with scheduling, errands, organization, and day-to-day tasks. Please check out my reviews from wonderful families I’ve worked for in the past! I’m known for being nurturing, creative, and calm under pressure. I genuinely love being around children and creating a safe, fun, and supportive environment for them to grow and thrive. I especially enjoy incorporating art, photography, and imaginative play into my time with kids. Whether it’s helping with homework, cooking kid’s food, preparing healthy snacks, doing kid’s laundry or managing routines, I bring thoughtfulness and care to every part of the job. I’m a non-smoker, allergy free, COVID and Tdap vaccinated, trained in CPR and First Aid. I have a clean driving record (I can drive a stick shift ;) and am very comfortable driving in the city and on the freeway. I prefer driving kids in parent’s car for liability and insurance reasons. I’m currently open to occasional babysitting, date nights, or regular positions with families who are great communicators and want someone fun and safe. Open to cash or payroll with benefits. Please don’t hesitate to reach out if you have any questions and I look forward to meeting you and your family! Warmly, Andy Areas I serve: SF, East Bay, Marin County, Sonoma County PS: I’ve recently had several families booking me in advance and then canceling on me a few hours before the job starts, so I now require a full payment if you cancel less than 72 hours before the job starts. Thank you for respecting my time! PS 2: I am not accepting any bookings south of San Francisco.

Hello everyone !! I'm an experienced and reliable babysitter with more of 5 years of experience. Enjoys working with children and I have excellent communication skills. I'm a former au pair who lived in the city of Cleveland Ohio for one year and then in San Francisco California for one more year. I took care of fours kids in the first place (aged 11 mo, 5 yo, 7 yo and 9 yo) and three in the second one (aged 5yo, 7 yo and 9 yo). I drove them to school, everyday sport activities and mostly played with them in their free time. I prepared meals, helped them with their homework and taught them Spanish as a second language. I'm a native Spanish speaker but also I speak fluent English and intermediate German. In addition, I have no problem working with any pets, since I love animals.

Vaccinated & boosted! Experienced, professional, silly, loving! Most recent background check June 2026 Red Cross Infant/Child/IAdult CPR & First Aid Certification 6/2025 Parents have called me "baby whisperer" and "Maya Poppins"; a three-year-old called me "booty butt"! I can handle anything! It is my great pride to share my resourcefulness and experience; I ask for help and clarification gladly.  I've worked with children from ages 2w to 18y through the site and also seniors. From KG teacher and early childhood curriculum developer, teacher trainer and university lecturer, I've worked extensively in education. After most of a decade abroad and a wild pandemic, I just finished my doctorate in education (March 2023!). I love working with children and appreciate having a flexible schedule. With little ones, I'm silly and creative (and love to share my published children's book!). I understand tears and have the patience to soothe and work with the frustration, exhaustion, or confusion behind them. For parents, I'm super tidy, reliable, a great communicator, and have a CA driver's license! I have lived and worked all over the world and have a social justice mindset that informs my life and work. Also available for high-end tutoring, development evaluations (ages 2-6), middle/upper grade social services, and personal assistant services at other rates.

"When we hired Amani, we felt like we hit the jackpot. We were very lucky to find her on UrbanSitter at the beginning of school year. She was picking up kids from school, taking them to afternoon activities, helping them with assignments. She prepped food for them, helped organize their closets and keep their spaces neat and orderly. We would hire her again in a heartbeat."
