*I am currently seeking a full-time position with a November 2026 or later start date* Hi There! My name is Jackie and I have loved being around children my whole life. I started babysitting when I was 12 and continued working with children as a sitter, preschool intern, and nanny through college. I am Infant/Child/Adult CPR and First Aid certified and am Trustline registered. I have a BA in Philosophy and have also completed coursework in Infant/Toddler Development and Nutrition, American Sign Language, and Autism Spectrum Disorder. Until Fall 2013, I worked outside of childcare in Operations Management for movie theaters and film festivals. Since then, I have had the pleasure of working with many wonderful San Francisco families as a professional nanny. I have extensive experience with newborns, infants, multiples, and share-care arrangements. I am extremely responsible, communicative, respectful, and nurturing. I look forward to meeting you and your family!

“I’m obsessed with Jackie — I’ve worked with a LOT of sitters and she’s truly excellent. She cared for my 4 month old, and then met my 3.5 year old for an hour or two. She was equally great with both — asked all the right questions, had great rapport, and was a terrific communicator. ”

Hi, My name is Antje and I am 39 years old. I have been working as a Full-Time Nanny for the last 20 years. In July of 2005 , I started taking care of two little girls - Kiara was 16 months old and Aria was about 3 months old when I started watching them for 45 hours a week in the East Bay. I worked with them for 3 1/2years and it was wonderful to see them grow up. Seeing them write, read , ride their bikes and just look like little adults now seems magical remembering the times when they weren't even walking or talking. =). In January 2009, I moved from the East Bay to San Francisco. Therefore, I started a Nanny Position in San Francisco. Milo had just turned 5 months when I started watching him full-Time in the beginning of that year. His little cousin Sienna joined us at the beginning of February. She was 2 1/2 months old at that point. Starting then we spent 40 fun hours together every week. When they were about 6 months old, we started introducing them to solid foods that either the moms or I cooked for them. Sienna's mom had a really time-consuming job and hardly ever got to see her. Therefore she quit her job at the end of November meaning that they didn't need a Full-Time Nanny anymore. In January 2010 I started nannying little Oliver. He was born in August 2009 and was about 4 more old when I started working with him. Ollie grew into a smart, fun and energetic little man that started pre-school at the end of 2011 which is when I stopped working for them. After moving to San Diego in 2012, I started working for the most wonderful family in March. Brandon and Jason were 11 and 8 years old and its been such a fun ride to help them grow up. Besides doing homework and staying on track with a busy activity schedule, we loved playing board games, bake or enjoy the outdoors. After moving back to San Francisco in March 2015, I got to be full-time with the sweetest little girl for 5 years! Since March 2020, I have been taking care of the greatest brother/sister duo who were 3 months and 25 months when we started our journey together! After 5 years, the position is transitioning from full time to part time due to both kids being in school till 3. While getting to work with all the sweet babies, I earned my undergraduate degree in criminal justice and economics from Cal State East Bay. I am an energetic, creative and really patient person who values an honest communication and feels incredibly lucky to make a kids childhood that much more magical!

“Antje won over our 24-month-old from the elevator ride up! She's a complete natural with kids - spent the whole day engaged in his world, speaking German the entire time. High energy, bonded instantly, and asked all the right questions to become independent in our home. Reliable, punctual, and gained our trust immediately. Highly recommend, especially for families wanting German language exposure.”

Hi, I'm Jennifer and I'm 43years old. I live in San Francisco, Ca. I have been taking care of children, with and without special needs, for over ten years now. I have over 32 units completed in child development, and work as a head teacher for Tinycare at Mission Bay Infants. I have extensive special needs experience! I have current Covid and boosters, CPR, First Aid, TB, DPT and Flu vaccine. I am experienced in food allergies and organic diets. I also know basic sign language, and have worked with families who use the sleep training method. I pride myself in providing engaging and stimulating activities instead of having children sit in front of a tv all day. I have worked as a live-in, live-out and on-call nanny. Some of my favorite activities to do with young children are singing, fingerplays, lots of reading (I love to read!), going on outings to parks, musuems, etc. For older children I love to incorporate activities that have an educational value too, like learning about history, science, etc in a fun and exciting way. I also do lots of art projects and music. I have quite a collection now, both from working in a school, different families and materials I have purchased. Children who I meet are always super excited to go through my "nanny bag" which I prepare for each family depending on the age of the children. Some of my interests are reading, writing, swimming, bike riding, going for walks and spending time with family and friends. I have excellent references and a resume available.

"When we hired Amani, we felt like we hit the jackpot. We were very lucky to find her on UrbanSitter at the beginning of school year. She was picking up kids from school, taking them to afternoon activities, helping them with assignments. She prepped food for them, helped organize their closets and keep their spaces neat and orderly. We would hire her again in a heartbeat."
