“Rachel is a absolute lifesaver! She responded right away to an emergency post I made for next-day childcare and stepped in effortlessly. She is polite, thoughtful, and immediately clicked with our son, Maverick. Even after just one day, I know we found someone truly special. She supported both Maverick and me when we needed it most. Hire her—you won't regret it!”

TrustLine & CPR Certified | Evenings & Weekends Available 🤍 About Me Hi families! I’m Ale, a bilingual professional nanny with over 13 years of hands-on childcare experience and a deep passion for supporting children’s emotional, social, and developmental growth. I currently work full-time as a nanny in Pacific Heights, caring for a precious baby, and I’m now available for part-time care after 5:00 pm on weekdays and flexible weekends. My childcare journey began as an au pair in San Francisco, and since then I’ve worked with infants, toddlers, and school-aged children. I hold a degree in Philosophy and Literature, am CPR certified, TrustLine registered, and a Nanny Pro certified caregiver. I’m also a swim instructor for young children and love incorporating movement, creativity, outdoor play, and gentle structure into our time together. On weekends, I collaborate with TIFFAN.org, where I teach the in-person Nanny Pro course, mentoring other nannies on professional childcare, communication with families, and respectful, heart-centered caregiving. This role reflects my commitment to high standards, trust, and professionalism in childcare. I believe in nurturing independent, curious, and emotionally secure children. Whether it’s story time, imaginative play, park adventures, or calm evening routines, I bring warmth, reliability, and intention to every family I work with. Availability • Weekdays: After 5:00 pm • Weekends: Flexible • Location: San Francisco (Pacific Heights, Noe Valley, Bernal Heights, nearby areas) I’m happy to provide excellent references and my resume upon request. For your peace of mind, I’m fully vaccinated (Tdap, MMR, COVID-19) and have up-to-date TB clearance. If you’re looking for a caring, responsible, and experienced nanny for evenings or weekends, I’d love to connect. Warmly, Ale 🤍 Please read my reviews! :)

“Alejandra was great! She arrived right on time and took great care of our 3yo son River, including getting him to bed, which is notoriously difficult. I would definitely recommend Alejandra!”

NOTE - at this time I am already committed to a family in the after-school time period. I do often take jobs outside of what you see on my calendar - just inquire! I'm looking for work in the childcare field because really, I like spending time with kids. When I had to think what I most like to do with young people, it is having conversations with them. I find it incredibly enjoyable, enlightening, and often, hysterical to hear what children have to say. Looking after children is something at which I felt I was always very good. It comes easily to me and I am extremely comfortable around children, from infants to teenagers. My life has really come full circle, back to children. Out of college I worked for many families for nearly 15 years as a sitter, while I eased into the graphic design field as a freelancer. After 25 yrs in that field, my role was becoming obsolete, so I naturally and easily slid back into childcare for the past many years. I am proud of the relationships I've developed with the children AND their parents - many have become close friends. I am very much a mature grown-up. Childcare is my primary work and focus. I show up. Extremely rare for me to cancel. I am single, with no children - just the mandatory cats we single women are obligated to have. I have loved living in San Francisco for 35+ years, graduating from USF and the Academy of Art University with a BFA degree. For 35+ years I have lived in the Inner Richmond in the same home. I'm passionate about traveling, baking/eating, movies, crafting. I believe you will find me to be a good listener, particularly to what you, the parents, are telling me about your child and his or her care. I am patient, easy going, but not a pushover. I firmly enforce house rules when needed. I love reading children's books and doing creative projects of all kinds. Trips to the park are high on my to-do list. I'm very Muni adept but love to walk too. I'm probably not nearly as tech-knowledgeable as an average 8 year old, but I do my best and am always mindful to respond to messages and inquiries quickly.... but I am by no means overly attached to my android. My eyes and attention are meant to be ON your child, not a screen. I am certified in CPR and AED for Adults, Children and Infants by the American Safety and Health Institute. I have been certified Best Auntie by my 5 nieces and nephew and I have the mug to prove it. One note - I do have a 2 hour minimum for bookings. Thank you!

“Tricia was wonderful! She was very attentive and gentle. Our LO really loved her. She was on time, responsive and I would highly recommend her.”

Hi, I’m Laura! I’m a professional nanny with nearly 10 years of experience caring for children from infancy through school age. I’m CPR certified and committed to providing safe, nurturing, and engaging care where children feel supported, confident, and encouraged to learn and grow. Throughout my career, I’ve supported families through many stages of childhood, with extensive experience caring for newborns and infants. I’m comfortable establishing and maintaining routines, supporting developmental milestones, tummy time, developmental play, naps and sleep routines, introducing age-appropriate activities, and implementing therapeutic exercises under professional guidance. I also have experience caring for multiple children at the same time. I’m dependable, patient, attentive, and communicative, and I truly value building trusting, long-term relationships with both children and parents. I have strong references from families I’ve worked with over the years, including long-term relationships that have continued beyond my time working with their children. I enjoy keeping children active and engaged through walks, parks, classes, library visits, and other age-appropriate outings and activities. I speak both English and Spanish and enjoy creating a warm, organized, and positive environment where children can thrive. I’d love the opportunity to support your family!

"When we hired Amani, we felt like we hit the jackpot. We were very lucky to find her on UrbanSitter at the beginning of school year. She was picking up kids from school, taking them to afternoon activities, helping them with assignments. She prepped food for them, helped organize their closets and keep their spaces neat and orderly. We would hire her again in a heartbeat."
