Amparo 1 review
$35 per hour for 1 child

Hello parents my name is Amparo, I’m a Spanish speaking person living in the Bay Area for more than twenty five years.i have worked with children all my adult life. I have worked in different educational settings as well as private homes. I prefer working with infants, toddlers and preschoolers. I truly enjoyed working with children and to share my expertise with new families. I respect different parenting styles and learn from them. I have references from families that I have worked for. I’m looking to work in San Francisco. Thanks for reading.

“Amparo provided daycare for my daughter Muriel over several occasions. She is highly professional, dependable, warm and easy to work with. She communicates clearly and promptly and expresses sincerity to help meet my scheduling needs. With my daughter she was entirely capable and was able to earn her trust right away. Her love of children is clear right from the start and she has a calming presence both with my baby and with me as a new mother. She had no problem asking me questions and clarifying all the information needed to have a successful visit and deliver steady care. She was quick to adopt my preferences and thoughtful in her inquiries, never bossy. At the end of each of her visits she provides details on feedings, naps, diaper changes and other observations. She is astute in picking up my baby's needs, for example soothing her when she was waking prematurely in order to extend her naps during a sleep regressive period. I continue to work with Amparo whenever the need arises; she is my first call among my list of available sitters. I would highly recommend her for any family in the Bay Area.”

Rocio 2 reviews
$32 per hour for 1 child

I am new to urbansitter app so i will be updating my profile little by little. I am a reliable, compassionate, and hardworking professional with over 10 +years of experience caring for children of all ages, from newborns to teenagers. I am patient, organized, and dedicated to creating a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment where children can learn and grow. I enjoy planning educational activities, reading, outdoor play, and supporting children’s developmental milestones. I am bilingual in English and Spanish, CPR certified, have a clean driving record, and excellent references. Families know me as someone who is trustworthy, dependable, and genuinely passionate about helping children thrive.

“It is my pleasure to wholeheartedly recommend Rocio. She is much more than a babysitter—she is a dedicated childcare professional who becomes a true partner in a child's growth and development. She has been an invaluable part of our family's life, caring for our two children through different stages of their development. With one child now 14 years old and the other 5 years old, she has consistently adapted her approach to meet their individual needs while providing the same level of love, patience, professionalism, and dedication. Throughout the years, she has created a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment where both of my children have felt loved, respected, and encouraged to grow. She is dependable, responsible, and attentive, always ensuring that their physical, emotional, and developmental needs are met. One of her greatest strengths is that she is fully bilingual in English and Spanish. She communicates fluently with both children and parents in either language and has provided support to our family in both English and Spanish based on our needs. Her ability to naturally incorporate both languages into daily interactions has been an incredible asset, fostering language development while ensuring clear communication with everyone involved. I'm impressed by her ability to adapt to our family's goals. Whenever we had a learning, developmental, or activity plan for our children, she implemented it consistently and effectively. She followed through with patience, creativity, and attention to detail, making learning enjoyable and part of everyday life. When our needs changed or we wanted to establish new routines and goals, she worked alongside us to develop personalized plans that reflected our parenting values and our children's unique personalities and developmental stages. Her thoughtful guidance and collaborative approach made her feel like a true partner in raising our children. Beyond her experience and professionalism, she has built a genuine trusting relationship with both of my children over the years, and they have always felt safe, supported, and cared for in her presence. She communicates openly with parents and exercises excellent judgment. Her reliability, flexibility, warmth, and commitment have given our family complete peace of mind. Without hesitation, I recommend Rocio to any family seeking an experienced, trustworthy, compassionate, organized, and bilingual caregiver. Any family would be fortunate to have her.”

"When we hired Amani, we felt like we hit the jackpot. We were very lucky to find her on UrbanSitter at the beginning of school year. She was picking up kids from school, taking them to afternoon activities, helping them with assignments. She prepped food for them, helped organize their closets and keep their spaces neat and orderly. We would hire her again in a heartbeat."
