Hello! I come from a small town in Wisconsin. I’m moving to the Des Moines area at the end of April and will be wanting to start with a family right away! I’ve had the opportunity to work with children ages 3 months old up to 10 years old in my six years of childcare experience. Hi, I'm Jade! I have a lot to say about my experience, as well as a fun fact about me at the end, so please read through this bio! I hold an associate's in Elementary Education, as well as a bachelor's in Anthropology (which I intend to use to become a children's librarian). I have worked in early childcare for about two years altogether, though that isn't counting the babysitting I don't put on my resume from when I was a teen to young adult. I have also tutored throughout college, helping kids grades 2nd-10th with all subjects. I love working with children; it brings me so much joy to bring them joy! I am a quick learner and do very well with instructions, though I might ask some clarifying questions to ensure everyone's comfort and satisfaction. I have a weird quirk: I love cleaning. I actually like when something gets dirty and I have to work to clean it or figure out a new way to get difficult grime off. I think it's my science-mindedness that keeps me researching the best ways to clean! Fun fact: I am a huge board game nerd!
