While I am new to the caregiving scene, I am apart of a huge family, and I am the second eldest so taking caring for people is something I am familiar with. My family owns an assisted living facility so I am familiar with what is expected of a caregiver. As far as personality traits go, I consider myself to be an empathetic person. Understanding the emotions of others is very important in caregiving as it allows me to truly hear and understand the individual I am caring for. I also would say I am a great multitasker and problem solver. I also like to have a positive and outgoing mindset which helps my communication skills and overall disposition in life.

Hi! My name is Victoria and I am currently a freshman at SPC double majoring in political science and journalism. I am offering full or part time child care. Since the age of 16, I have worked with lots of children ranging from infants to pre teens. My jobs have ranged from as needed baby sitting gigs to full time nannying 5 days a week. My responsibilities have included driving to/from school and activities, tutoring, overnight and weekend stays, and summer activities. I also have experience caring for children with autism. I am passionate about creating fun, safe, and engaging environments for the kids I get to care for, and I value kindness and understanding above all else. I’m comfortable working with kids of all ages and levels of care, including any kinds of special needs. I have my own transportation, and I’m more than willing to be proactive with light household tasks. I am very reliable and have open availability. I can provide excellent references upon request!

$22 per hour for 1 child
Booked by 22 families in Bay Pines, FL

Hi! - My name is Jordan. I am from South San Francisco. I am a student athlete at Dominican University. I graduated with a Bachelors in Science and majored in Chemistry. I am currently getting my MS in Biology at Dominican University. I have been babysitting/nannying for over four consecutive years now and could do this the rest of my life. So as you could imagine my career goal is to be a pediatrician because I love to engage with kids and work with all ages. When it is nice outside I could teach the kids a new athletic skill or simply just go play at the park. Basketball is my main sport, which is what I play at Dominican. However I also know how to play soccer, softball/baseball, and volleyball. And for the not so nice days out I always love a good board game, coloring or even musical chairs. For myself, my hobbies consist of playing basketball, wakesurfing, and horseback riding.

We hired Jordan to be our kids' nanny in the summer of 2020 as soon as we realized COVID lockdown was going to last for a while and trying to work from home with 2 young kids wasn't realistic. She was reliable, professional, and fantastic with our kids, who absolutely adored her. They rarely played outside before, but Jordan got them to be more active, truly playing and engaging with them outdoors (and indoors). She also supervised 30 minutes of workbook exercises every day, helped with lunches and cleanup afterwards, and put my son down for naps. Overall, she was a godsend, and it was great seeing how happy my kids were with her, despite being stuck at home all day, every day. I fully recommend her and would absolutely hire her again. To this day, 1 year later, my kids still ask when they can see and play with Jordan again.

"When we hired Amani, we felt like we hit the jackpot. We were very lucky to find her on UrbanSitter at the beginning of school year. She was picking up kids from school, taking them to afternoon activities, helping them with assignments. She prepped food for them, helped organize their closets and keep their spaces neat and orderly. We would hire her again in a heartbeat."
