I started to love working with kids when I was in high school when I took classes and decided that I wanted to work with kids and end up going working with kids. I have experience with children of all ages and love working with children. I babysat full time for two children during the summer from the time they were 3 and 4 until they were 7 and 8. I also frequently babysat for my next door neighbor while she was 6 and 7 until she moved. I also have experience with infants as I spent 2 summers nannying for an infant with special needs. Hi families! My love for children began when I was a child myself. I grew up serving for a ministry for children with cancer called Blue Skies and can't remember a time I didn't love connecting with little ones. I started babysitting at the age of thirteen and continued all through high school. Shortly after I graduated high school I began working at an elementary after school program where my passion for working with children continued to grow. I decided to pursue my paraprofessional certification and began as an assistant teacher in the fall of 2023. I feel so fortunate for the opportunity to watch children learn, grow, and engage with the world around them.
