My name is Maria and I am a mother of two girls, ages 11 and 9. I have a bachelors degree in elementary education and a masters degree in curriculum and instruction. I taught 3rd and 4th grade for 14 years in Miami. I am a certified teacher in the state of Georgia and have been subbing for 5 years for Cobb County Schools. I come from a large family and have always loved helping take care of the little ones. I love to play with my kids, do arts and crafts, read books, and outdoor fun! I am comfortable caring for seniors that need some extra assistance at home or in getting around to the store or appointments.

I have over 6 years of experience working with kids. I worked at Windy Hill Athletic Club for 3.5 years at their daycare facility and as a camp counselor. I also worked with Chroma ELA Marietta in their infant room for 5 months. I was also babysitting before and after those jobs. I will be able to help with housekeeping, crafts, schoolwork, and many more activities! I am lifeguard certified and a swim instructor as well! I am also CPR/First Aid certified.
