Aloha! Children are a passion of mine. I find their curiosity and ability to live in the moment very amusing. Though I have none of my own yet.. I have several nieces, nephews, and god-children that I adore. I was born and raised in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan where adventuring in nature was the way of life. After high school graduation I drove across the country to land in Santa Barbara, California to attend college. There I worked as a business manager for a Sailing Cruise operation, where I met my fiancé. In 2016 we left SB to manage luxury yachts as a Captain/Stew couple and traveled the world. In March 2022 we left the yachting industry to be land based and settle down here on Kauai and we love it! My childcare background starts at a young age where my mom owned a Day Care center next to our grade school. I would help with various tasks and had a natural ability for caregiving. In middle school I’d assist my mom with a summer youth program for kids with disabilities. In high school I was a tutor. And in Santa Barbara I was a nanny for a child from 7 months old to 8 years old. I love teaching and sharing knowledge with others. I’m professional yet personable and can help in several ways. Growing up I lived on a farm with 6 horses and we always had dogs present. I also always had other animals around like turtles, chicken, ducks, and bunnies. I’ve worked as a nanny, assistant teacher for a daycare along, retail, and marketing. I offer pet settings, pet boardings, and pet walks. I am familiar with most breeds. I’ve owned high energy working dogs, such as border collies Australian shepherds. I’ve also owned and worked with larger protective breeds like cane Corso’s.

Aloha, my name is Patricia and I am retired and very active. I recently moved to Kauai and available during the days only (I don’t drive at night), to help you with your child care needs. I raised two daughters and I have 2 grandchildren. I actually began babysitting for neighbors when I was about 11-12 years old. I enjoy young children, especially babies.
