I’ve had the opportunity to nanny for 20+ families, whether it be ocasional sitting or reoccurring, I am equipped for the job. I have also worked for the Chicago Park District for three summers. I have been watching newborns, infants, toddlers and kids(including twins!) since I was about 10 years old. I am a former television journalist, field producer, and news team manager with national and regional experience in multiple cities at major news companies. I have earned a bachelor’s and master’s degree, so far. I was awarded an honorary doctorate for extensive community-focused digital media programming. . I left it all to form a youth-focused nonprofit in Chicago. After helping youth and young parents with their children, I recently decided I would try being a nanny/child caregiver when another nanny told me I would be great at it because of my nurturing personality, skills and love for children & youth. Babysitting was my first job. I grew up babysitting regularly for my neighbors, family friends, and even my teachers’ children. I also love cleaning homes and businesses.
