I am a very easy-going and fun individual who has always loved to inspire new ideas with kids. My past years working as Site Coordinator with the Boys and Girls Club, I got to help children invent, create, and have fun in a safe, inclusive, and diverse environment, which is something I take great pride and joy in. I worked with Sunset Hills Elementary as a Special Education Paraeducator, where I worked alongside the SPED instructor in helping the students in writing, reading, speech therapy, and behavior expression exercises. I worked for a Pharmaceutical company as an Environmental Health and Safety Coordinator, where I ensured the safety of over 100 employees through my extensive knowledge of OSHA, KDHE, FDA, EPA, and other state and federal regulations. I currently work as an in-home caretaker, a pet-sitting company, & a high school swim coach (making me certified in concussion awareness, CPR/AED, & First Aid). On the side, I work part-time as a house cleaner and organizer, so one thing’s for sure: your house will never be left a mess when the day is done.

Hi there! My name is Danielle, and I’m a 34-year-old mom and lifelong childcare professional. I’ve been working with children since I was 14 years old — from babysitting in my teens to working in licensed childcare facilities and nannying for wonderful families over the years. Caring for kids has always been more than just a job for me; it’s my passion and my purpose. I’m also a proud mom of two amazing little girls, ages 4 and 6, who are truly my favorite people on the planet. They keep me laughing, learning, and reminded every day of how fun and magical childhood can be. A few years ago, I wrote and published a children’s book called “Sabreena Takes Her Medicine.” I created it for my daughter during a tough time when I couldn’t find any comforting or encouraging books about taking medicine. It’s a story that helps kids understand the importance of caring for their health — and it’s one of my proudest accomplishments. Until recently, I worked at a drop-in daycare that I absolutely adore. Unfortunately, due to budget cuts, my hours were reduced — but I’m excited to keep doing what I love most: supporting children’s growth, creativity, and confidence. I recently renewed my Pediatric First Aid and CPR certification, so safety is always a top priority. Beyond that, I love bringing creativity and movement into each day — whether it’s arts and crafts, sensory play, or a fun yoga and movement session. I’ve even taught children’s yoga classes and love watching kids light up as they move their bodies and use their imaginations. I’m comfortable with kids of all ages and truly believe every stage of childhood is special. My goal is always to create a nurturing, safe, and fun environment where children can explore, learn, and just be themselves.
