Hi I’m Debbi, a 68 year young mother of three grown daughters with children.My granddaughters are ages 25,21,20,15,14,10, in which I’ve taken care of while parents worked, and being very active in their lives. I held a teaching position at A.D. Owens Elementary School for 5 years when my children went to school. I have three years of education at NKU. I’ve been married to my husband, a retired firefighter, for 38 years. I live in Newport Kentucky. I love working with children because they have little brains like a sponge, absorbing the world around them. I am a forever fur baby owner. I believe everyone is unique in their own way with their own personality traits and talents. My children and grandchildren are their own individual person in new chapters of their lives, so it’s time I move to a new chapter in my life With this being said I’m in the market to participate in the workforce to make the best possible career path for me. I started out as an infant teacher and I cared for babies between the age of 6 weeks and 18 months for nearly 3 years. I then moved to a toddler classroom where I cared for children between the ages of 2 years to 3 years. Prior to working in a child care center I was a babysitter and a nanny while still in school.
