Hello! My name is Emily and I moved (with my pup!) to New England in 2023 to pursue new opportunities in my personal and professional life. During the day, I work for the local public school system as an Itinerant Teacher of the Deaf/Hard of Hearing, which means I get to work with variety of students, across a variety of ages. Over the past 10 years, I have worked in traditional preschool, Montessori, and K-12. My experience with children of all abilities ranges from toddlers to high school, and I enjoy working with them and creating meaningful relationships through mutual respect, open communication, and good-hearted silliness and play.

I have worked in child care for 8 years in a variety of places. Most recently I was the assistant director at a YMCA camp and before that I was an after school tutor. Additionally I just graduated from the University of San Francisco. I have had a cat and a dog for most of my life, so your children and animals are safe with me!
