I’m a single mom with my sweet 10 month old daughter looking for the right family to join us on our journey! By training, I’ve been a naturopathic doctor for the past 6 years. When my husband passed away unexpectedly while I was pregnant with our baby girl, I had to step away from work in order to show up for our daughter in the way I felt she needed. As I’m waiting to feel like we’re both ready for me to return to my career, I’m looking for part-time nanny work to help support the two of us in a way that allows me to be with her. We cook together, spend time outside in the dirt & grass, go on hikes, and read together. My professional background in naturopathic medicine not only certifies me in CPR and basic & naturopathic first aid but also gives me extensive knowledge of nutrition to prepare homemade meals for your child - I believe this niche makes up for my limited paid childcare experience! I’d also be a great fit for a family planning to have a second child that would like their first exposed to a younger baby. My daughter already loves to play with kids! I know how hard it is to leave your child in someone else’s care during such critical years. I have been babysitting in my neighborhood since I was 14 years old for different families with ages ranging from 2-11 years old. I branched out and started watching other kids in the county and city. I also work through Baltimore County with a summer school program for kids ages 5-14 where I watch over 30 kids and coordinate activities for them.

I have 5 children and 2 grandchildren. I did home daycare for 5 years. When my children were young, I taught Sunday school for 5 years & pre-school for 8 years. I was a Director of the pre-school for 5 years. I also took care of 2 elderly people. The woman I helped her during the summer while she was recovering from a heart attack. I was with the gentleman for approximately 4 years until he passed away.
